they won't openly say that they hate that a black woman is playing Ariel so they'll instead complain about the smallest and irrelevant things to trash talk this movie

Honest to god I think Disney places POC actors/actresses in leads of movies they don't want to invest much money into, because then that puts all the conversation on the casting, and not how shit the movie is

And what problem would they even have with Hallie? What has she done? The girl has done nothing. Yet, people are making noise because they think a mermaid should be white.

Comments #1 and #5 are hella sketchy. How does Halle not fit the image of a "mermaid princess"? She's pretty, youthful, has a soft/delicate voice and she'll have the iconic red hair in the movie. If Megan Thee Stallion was casted as Ariel I'd understand but the only difference between Halle and Ariel is that Halle is black and Ariel is not. Besides, how is Halle shameless for calling her role as Ariel a "dream come true"? Could be that Ariel was her favorite Disney princess growing up and just feels honered to play her in a live-action movie. Would y'all rather have her talk down on the role? 

All in all, I'm glad the poster is fake cause it looks really cheap.

Doesn't fit the image and the India comment...geez. and wanting other actress.. that's the thing,  it's musical..halle is talented singer. I never seen her acting but I'm sure it's decent if not good or better.  Why wasn't some different casting just cuz ur racist 💀 she is great casting
