TBH, I was surprise at the amount of shocked and negative comments to begin with. The concept of nudity in art has been around for ages, and I always thought it was something people just gained general knowledge of. Like not every naked piece is going to look like 'The birth of Venus.' Art isn't censored, it can be really raw and unfiltered and controversial because it has no limits. Jayb's photos are so tame in comparison to so many art pieces out there lmfaoo. Like people just need to google it and look on the images tab. But atlas, people like to stick to their closed-in narratives despite them probably thinking they're the opposite. But even if it wasn't for artistic purposes, so what? Idols have admitted to watching p*rn, Jayb's format is just in jpg style. And we know he purchased them as well from what would be consider an art exhibit. He took all the steps to get them as ethically as could be. But yeah, people will ignore and stay mad. That's their own problem though, really.

Do we even know these issues though? I'm honestly just curious because it happened right before kpop snatched me up but I've never heard one confirmed issue.

Also, JB left JYP and lost his mind cause if greeting your customers with a coochie wall displayed behind you is in your book of "acceptable behavior for an idol", he's in for a HARD (NPI and it's staying) time. Idk, maybe he's no longer an idol. Anyway, I'm probably wrong cause I haven't heard any backlash since his fans revealed that he had a bunch of random coochies staring at them.

After Jay's departure, JYP was recorded off camera saying "It's not illegal, but it will be a very big scandal socially. We cannot reveal it for the sake of Jay Park. JYP has moved, while Jay Park talked about his trainee time and being in touch with 2PM, he also released a dissing track aiming JYP. Not to say attracting former JYP artists to his company and shouting "Tzuyu fighting" during an interview he gave at the time Tzuyu's scandal happened.

Jay really saw something on Yugyeom and JB - easy money coming to his company. He has never spent a cent or even spent a night awake to promote the boys, but he'll benefit from their popularity.

1st JB is an idol, and he's seen as an idol. Even professional photographs are cancelled depending of the photos they take. 

I've been following JB since his debut in JJP, and I was shocked. 

Watching a p*rn movie is different from having random pictures of XXXX on the wall, and showing it to world. He's not a newbie idol, and I bet he was taught to be careful while recording a live or posting something on sns.

If you think rumors made by fans should be taken seriously then I guess we should also believe a rumor that Hyuna left WG because she stole someone's clothes and that 2PM were addicted to clubbing and women and were mean to Jay Park. 

What I'm trying to say, these rumors shouldn't be taken seriously.

 

In JB's case, the context matters. In Korea there are many phographers who show women's body from male perspective, sexualize it and call it art. It's not something worth praise in a society where women are seen and treated as objects whose purpose is to serve men and fulfill their fantasies. 

It's a country where IOI was created to "satisfy male fantasies", where Burning Sun happened and people who were involved in it weren't punshed, where there's a huge problem with molka. The least you can do as a man who "respects women" is not showing such photos during a live. He's someone whose fanbase consists of women.

Being labeled with the 'idol' tag is not the issue. If he was some struggling idol, nobody would've even noticed the background, go through the efforts to screenshot it (as blurry as it was) and cry fowl at it on twitter. GD who encompasses that label probably would've gotten just as much flack or less maybe, but the outcry would still be there. It's because they're well known in the kpop world and the subject of nudity in forms, has always been one of debate. And it doesn't help that kpop's general audience is really young as well, so. 

Jayb and H1igher only apologized because they acknowledge he was being careless and are aware Jayb has a wide audience and understand some aren't comfortable with nudity and that he has younger fans as well. Otherwise they did NOT apologize for Jaybe having the photos himself and said even fans know he has an interest in art and photography outside of music, and explained that they're for his mood board. Which is something fans are familiar with as well. 

Which btw, you've also missed the mark of my comparison. The photos are part of his mood board, which is obviously for his inspiration. But so what if it was just for enjoyment as well? That''s what my comparison to p*rn was for. You see idols admitting they watch it and giggle about it and it's okay, but I guess people draw the line when it comes to pictures. And the photos are not random, he literally got them from an art exhibit though???

And have you seen the photos? There's nothing grotesque or shocking about them unless you just don't like seeing naked...pictures. Unless there's some kind of darker alternative purpose for the photographer in regards to his content, then guess what? He's not going to get cancelled. Nudity and Art is not an uncommon combination.

Regardless on my personal opinion on the pictures themselves, it's extremely unprofessional. He was on a live with his fans, at least show repect to them?
