Spoiler

I'm overexcited rn because I've been re-watching Friends recently, it's my comfort show, and with BTS's comeback coming up, but just wow. I'm on emotional rollacoaster anyway but the timing just made me that much more excited

I was wondering when it's coming bc of seeing commercials for tbs will be marathoning friends leading to its release  (which I'm watching at this moment)  and also just rewatching eps I missed bc I can't watch that every afternoon. Long list of guest stars tho. Wondering how it'll be bc this is sumn prolly millions anticipating for years

Personally, I never understood the hype with this show. I could never really get into it. That said, cool for BTS though.

This, I always found "How I met your mother" to be the superior group-of-friends sitcom (except for that awful ending, for me it ends when Ted meets the mom, nobody can convince me otherwise).

EDIT: Jesus Christ, there are even Friends stans in here? This fandom thing is getting out of hand...

Seeing that whole list of guest actually turns me off a bit, unless it's a 4hours long thing I would feel like it's such a waste to spend so much time on guests while what fans want and waited for is the main cast.

Oh well we shall see, it's great exposure for BTS though.

Idk if they're clowning us because they generally like Friends or if they think we're saying this  because BTS is involved or something but lol.

you've got one clown and 4 upvotes for the "I don't get the hype for this popular thing" post, isn't it a quite positive reaction? if anything I'm a bit bummed it turned out to be such a lukewarm thread for I was genuinely excited to share the news

idk I've never seen How I met ur mother but I gathered some people might just not share their opinion on superiority of one show over the other while others do? anyway just found it strange that you remarked on the reaction when I didn't see anything unusual. maybe I just don't spend much time on OH anymore

I mean it's possible, I even admitted it in the post lol. But I also know how petty people sometimes can be, which could apply to either scenarios. Anyways, its not a big deal either way

"do friends stans exist" honestly ladies onehallyu is a rock and yall be living under it. friends, the tv show, has many, many stans. i never got the hype either but yeah. its right up there next to the office in terms of sheer popularity, and anything popular has stans.

people seem to have stronger feelings about disliking the show than about liking it, I actually wouldn't have minded if more stans found their way here🤣

I don't know how much of a fan NJ actually is but it was a great story about him learning the language and it was a popular anecdote with western talk shows, kinda first "connection" or whatever. it's nice to see this thing coming full circle AND it is a great promo
