tbh i would be more surprised if we see news of them renewing. at this point, the agency is just treating the revival of the song as to how a disbanded group like nine muses is reacting to their song rising.

Global H doesn't seem to care. The members themselves seem to care more (based on their IG reactions). All you have to do is see how Brave went all out to put Brave Girls everywhere immediately to how Laboum's company has reacted.

Despite the rising song which has almost entered top 20, the agency seems to still be acting like nothing has happened. They haven't reacted shit on their official account and the agency's social media is dead since 2019.

Hm they made a 2021 version of journey to atlantis last month tho..?

That is just a simple performance in an interview they have been invited to.... They said they were re-promoting. I understand why they would decide not to promote back then because well, the song got stuck in the 100s. But it entered the top 20 both real time and daily today and it seems that even this doesn't satisfy their agency.

Wait, wasn't like 2 months ago their company mediaplayed and mentioned the group would be promoting it on music shows? The issue was back then the song was stagnating at #130 on melon, didn't enter top 100 yet, so their mediaplay got them backlash. But now that they not only breaking to top 100 but managed to chart on top 30, suddenly they're quiet? Maybe they're waiting until it breaks into the top 10-20 before making any promotion announcement.

It actually IS in the top 20 both MelOn daily and MelOn 24 Hits now. I'm thinking they gave up at this rate tbh

they were discussing promotions when journey to atlantis was rising on the charts so maybe there's still chances...

The ceo, the main manager and several of GLOBAL H staffs has moved to MLD Ent. Since the move there had been 0 news of GLOBAL H, LABOUM, UKISS or Jun promotion. But we had news of Soohyun leaving the company and UKISS.

They are #16 on the daily chart and #15 on 24H

They will disband as scheduled.

Yoo Jaesuk gave them a nice graduation gift, but that is not turning into financial incentives. The company has moved on to something else.

I think they stopped pushing Laboum at some point because of its many incidents, most of them negative, and decided to just send the group off in peace with a nicely framed diploma.

They became way less active after Yulhee left, but it all goes back to their own flawed marketing strategy. Instead of all the negative attention which they brought the group they could have gotten them on a few big variety shows to get their songs some attention there. I know it's hard for small groups to be on big shows, but it's not impossible. Gfriend's debut era is an example.

If they were doing at least average and actually making money I doubt Yulhee would even think of starting a family instead of her career although I respect her decision now that it happened.
