it seems it's a single again...Idg SM, even RV already had a mini 7 months after their debut.

I've said it before but it's so painfully obvious that SM is trying to market aespa the same way as Blackpink with the "luxurious" and unattainable vibe

it kinda make sense. One of the reasons why I think BP sold so much with their first mini and then +1M with their first full album was because they didn't released them until 2-4 years into their careers so their fandom was super starved.

Honestly I'm not quite sure I agree with this being the best method? While it has certainly resulted in high sales for the few comebacks that they DO have, I think that Blackpink has missed out on a ton of potential sales that they could have had if they just released more frequently. Just look at Twice - they only debuted a year before BP and they don't sell 1M per album or anything crazy like that, but they have sold way more albums in total than BP has. I really think BP could have sold just as much if not more if they released as frequently as Twice.

the normal reaction would be the fans leaving because of less content and music, but since blackpink constantly releases good music, their fans stayed and grew... looking at asphalt's debut and loona's sm-produced songs, it won't work for asphalt
