He just refused in a cute way (like looking at another member so the mc would ask them. They were so vague and evasive that you never really got an answer. Yeah, that's probably why they don't ask. Maybe fans don't ask cause they don't want to know? Kfans tend to know the dirt though. U-kwon from Block B and Bastarz came right out at his debut and said he had a girlfriend, he refused to play that game and he's still around. On the other hand, not talking about it kinda adds to the really messed up “boyfriend/girlfriend fantasy” that fans take way too far and of course all the dating “scandals”. Ellen has a habit of asking this to any K-pop celebrity who comes on her show. I get seriously annoyed when that happens. So I am glad it isn't asked in Korean variety shows... Even if someone harmlessly speculates just for fun or out of curiosity, that's completely fine, but you should never take it up to them and ask them these things.
