Who is the "Twice" of 4th gen and when will they give us another Likey?

Likey randomly came up on my spotify playlist and it made me realize how impactful and necessary cutey pop was to the industry and Likey did it so well!  It had the right amount of aegyo cringe, the nostalgic snsd inspired pop chorus (the instrumentals not the vocals), the shocking trap moment that captured the hearts of girl crush obsessed international fans, and the innovative instagram theme to bring home the dark and twisted hidden lyrical meaning.  Ugh it was a MOMENT!  I'm sorry for taking it for granted and rushing twice into Girl Crush/Sexy concept.  I didn't know that they wouldn't have a predecessor to carry the torch!

idk about who exactly could be the 4th gen version of twice but I guess STAYC is the closest to that at the moment. Likey was produced by Black Eyed Pilseung and they're STAYC's current producers so they're the best bet in my opinion.

honestly... probably STAYC. they got bep, so that's a given. but they're really the only rookies that seem to be actually progressing nicely, rather than having faults in between each comeback. i have a feeling stayc's next comeback will be big, but the comeback after that will be even bigger (idk about national hit level though since they seem like a group that constantly does better, rather than exploding out of nowhere).

i would mention aespa, since they're a sm group. i can see them getting some buzz like ice cream cake did for rv, and then a proper hit like red flavor. it's the usual for every group. get called flops for two years, has a hit, people call it luck, has a bigger hit, people say it's overrated and undeserving, years pass and now the same people are missing them and want them to come back as sm is now focusing on their newer groups, lmao. yall should've appreciated what you had during the moment!!!! 

on another topic, im waiting for weeekly to have their apink mr.chu moment. after school BLEW up. i'm actually surprised that it has 40 million views on yt and 17 million streams on spotify.

Stayc and Weeekly for sure. Maybe some underrated ggs like Cherry Bullet, Rocket Punch, Wooah and Cignature too but their releases always fly under the radar. Other ggs like G-idle, ITZY, Everglow, Aespa, etc have girl crush concept and I don't see them releasing pure bubblegum/cutesy pop like Likey.

I knew about the youtube views but the spotify streams are insane wtf. I've also noticed the song is still rising on melon top 1000 and it's now very close to the top 300. I wish it pulls a ASAP and eventually gets into the top 100 but it's stabilized for a while in the 300s range.

Yeah agree with most here. StayC seems to give that Twice vibe especially in their latest release ASAP. Plus their producer have produced popular songs for Twice.
