Former AOA member Mina posted a self-harm picture on her Instagram with messages directed at her haters. On April 27 around midnight KST, Mina posted a bloody picture of her hand.

In a caption, she wrote, "Why, is this dirty? Does this make you sick? Every single word you say makes me relieve like this. Oh, the suicide show? You said this is to gain sympathy. Well then, why don't you give some? Go see a professional? I've been seeing a psychiatrist for the past decade. Do you know why I have gone mad? Have you all been in my shoes? You don't know anything about me and yet still stomps and rips me apart every day. I've been trying my best and lived like a fool."

Mina made headlines for lashing out at a netizen who demanded former AOA member Jimin bullied her.

Hate these fucking sites tho, allkpoop and koreaboo too. They post these graffic pictures and just put a warning, they shouldn't even post it, It's triggering for a lot of people.

I'm so sad for Mina, she's been battling this for 10 years, i really wish she could get the help she needs.

Please mark it sensitive OP, source of link as well if possible

Otherwise, I hope she can find a good therapist, and i hope someone is with her, I also hope she can go private or not use instagram during her treatment, because comments as a public personality will always be mixed, without a doubt, even without any mental struggle there will always be some negative comments as celebrity. Social media is probably the place she should be away from most now.

It's sad because she might have to go outside of Korea to get proper treatment. She mentioned that none of her psychiatrists are really helping her at all. After TOP's attempt, I started reading about therapy in Korea and it's very hard for any patient to get the right help they need. I remember Jonghyun mentioned in his note that his own therapist said he was the problem. She needs intensive therapy.

I just wish the best for her and for her to get off of social media even though she feels like social media is the only place people could listen.

Her best bet is to go abroad for treatment. I wish she would have people around her to tell her to seek help abroad so she can get the proper care she needs.

Honestly I don't think it's going to happen even though you're right and it just hurts even more to watch her unravel like this

Yeah Korea, from the look of it, has tendency to label you as weak, and i assume it somehow affects their doctors as well. Issue is its hard to get help somewhere else unless you are fluent in another language. It is not something like surgery, where you dont need to talk. It might take long time, it will probably take long time, frequent visits, and fluency in another language, it would be close to impossible getting help in another country, unless your doctor speaks Korean for her situation. Jonghyun situation still pisses me off, i wish they released that person's name honestly, so no one got treatment from that therapist.

Otherwise, I hope she stops using instagram, to my knowledge there are some support programmes and forums, she can always join one of those instead, and have people listen her that actually suffered from familiar issues as her. Instagram is not suitable at all for this.

Sadly, with how long this is going on (I think 10 years) and how intense this is, support forums won't help her simply because it's a temporary solution. People will be there to talk to her but she needs actual medical intervention.

You're right about the language barrier but, if, IF, she does her research she find a doctor in another country that does speak Korean that can help her. I don't think she has actual friends around to help her. My thinking is that she stays in that country for as long as they tell her to instead of going back and forth.

But, like I said, with how intense this is and the details from her, she needs medical and mental intervention asap.

Allkpop and Koreaboo are disgusting, people need to stop using these sites fr

I've seen on Twitter that Mina's fancafe are trying to see if she's physically okay now, she needs help and her support network right now is not working

Allkpop, always quick to sensationalize anything, no matter how sensitive the subject.

I fear she’s stuck in a cycle that won’t end well. Clearly whatever support she’s received hasn’t worked.

I agree, just, country change also has a negative impact on your mental health honestly, it might be last thing she might need for all we know, and it might instead worsen her condition, maybe there is some therapist that is good enough in Korea, honestly thats my best hope for her. When she is in more stabile state, she can then travel and find a better one. I am sure there is at least some really good therapists that speak Korean, but I am afraid they are hard to find, maybe even harder to book a date.

True.

There used to be a club formed by Leeteuk, Yoona and Taeyeon called the "milk club" for any idol suffering from depression to meet with their peers and talk about their struggles.

I wish it was still active but who knows, maybe they made another one in another company, and hiding it so no company knows. That's what I hope at least.

I saw the picture when she posted it and I feel so bad for her. I hope Mina meets with a very good therapist. This is heartbreaking and I wish she gets proper help.

For anyone who's struggling and in need of urgent help, here's a list of hotlines: https://www.suicidestop.com/call_a_hotline.html. Feel free to message me if you want someone to talk to.

Honestly think whatever you want about her, but going to her sns or even sending messages directly is way over the line. Same as sending negativity in comments. You dislike what you see yet it doesn't concern you? Just move on.

And this isn't only about Mina, but whatever celebrity or non celebrity person around the globe.

Ugh wtf why?

I wonder if it's her fans or trolls. Trolls doing this could target both Jimin and Mina at once so this is something I can see attract the very worst of them.
