sxpant 335
harsh comments towards yoona and taeyeon willnot destroy their career. look at how harsh comments towards GD (marijuana scandal) daesung and nichkhun (car accident) seung ri (towel scandal) IU (sex scandal) didnt stop their career. their scandals are bigger than yoona taeyeon if we could compare. and t'ara still make much money though. removed929393303 15,230
It seems that for some reason people have started to take NB translated comments and comments translated by other sites as the general consensus for how Koreans feel about certain idols/subjects. In truth, the general public probably doesn't give a fuck about a lot of the kpop related things talked about and the comments are mainly from kpop fans. People need to stop taking those comments so seriously. They're amusing to read but that's about it.
Lexi.K 3,161
Well, I doubt that they consider them that relevant in idols careers. It's just that many times i-fans and k-netz opinions clash because mainly the latter don't give a fuck about idols and usually bash them in comparison to the "real" Korean talents. It's worse if the idols had serious scandals. But I also think that i-netz sometimes inflate their importance and twist their meaning. I feel that i-netz usually expect k-netz comments to be mean and react contrary to them just to contradict them, because they should be "in the wrong". And when they are not "wrong", you'll see how fast the top-rated comments change regarding their opinions in different articles towards a same issue. While k-netz have a stable stance. alllysone 3,343
Malicious knetz comments would affect and hurt the idols themselves. However, I don't think it would affect their fanbase, so at the end of the day it isn't really that important to the idols' career.

Hudson 18
In Yoona's case,I think not only Yoona receives many harsh cmts when she has a new drama.Suzy and Go Ara too.Esp Suzy, she always got bashed by k-netizs when she has new drama but in the end her dramas was a big hit with 20%. About Taeyeon,Idk what to say lol
lulus 361
knetz' comments don't represent korean public in general, but kpop also doesn't revolve around general public. it's around those immature young girls on nate or naver w/e so yeah, sometimes those comments matter. the thing is... NB only translated a few most voted comments among hundred other comment which often contradict those top comments.
Vixen 8,635
Exactly. What's funnier is that people think Pann comments are a reflection of the knetizens from the general public when the truth is that it's nothing but a forum full of kpop fans (mainly boy group fans). It's just like looking at Onehallyu and Allkpop posts.
