April's Chaewon & Yena say that Hyunjoo is unfairly accusing them as 'assailants' and acting as a 'victim', the truth will be revealed

Recommended Posts

if they're so sure that they're innocent and didn't bully her why didn't they immediately refute this themselves when hyunjoo's brother first posted and this all initially came out? wouldn't they want to defend themselves and clear their name asap if they were wrongly accused? if i recall correctly none of the members said anything and it was just a company written message saying that it's false and they'll sue hyunjoo's brother, nothing else

they're obviously gas-lighting her just like everyone else who sided with them. How can you stand there and still victim blame after she attempted to take her own life due to the environment you helped cultivate and maintain? Everyone involved with DSP just lacks basic empathy and it makes them sound horrible.

I don't know what DPS is thinking but they just have dug a deeper hole for Chaewon and Yena, the more they went silent and the most blame was put on Naeun. DSP simply cannot understand that bullying a person because of their weak health is wrong period even from a perspective of a regular worker. Even if other workers have it hard because of it. And Hyunjoo only missed like two performances. This is so wrong compared to for example SM groups or Twice were members can miss entire comebacks due to health and having other jobs and the other members have no problem with rearranging entire songs and choreographies.

I don't believe any words writing by this snakes

if they have proof why tf take them too long to say anything ? just sitting there blaming the victim, just give us the proof then and stop trash talk the victim

April's fans saying that hyunjoo's suicide attempt cuz she was bored like wtf ? are they even humans to say this kind of bs ?

Yea I'm not listening to anything they got to say. I'm 100% sure they r guilty. Like they're done for in public eye and not for no reason just admit u fucked up than to deflect and victim blame. Like have some compassion...yall bullied her to the point she tried to give up..like wtf that is deep. They have to feel at least some guilt of that as a person. .. they are guilty and they must know that...

These statements don't really show the members in good light though. Not even talking about the one released by DSP. Seriously not even once since the beginning noone of them showed at least a bit of compassion towards the girl. They only attacked her. Which doesn't really give the innocent vibe.

How they ended up posting these statements?

After Somin unnie's departure, as the oldest, I did my best to care for each of the members, trying to make sure that we all got along; I especially paid attention to Hyunjoo, who was weak physically and emotionally.

There is no way that a manager can turn a blind eye in their business matters, and during those days, our manager also endured a lot of stress due to incidents involving Hyunjoo

We all debuted at an early age, and we were immature, so everyone struggled mentally.

However, I always felt that this particular member pushed us out. They always thought that they were the obvious victim in incidents which involved everyone, and even when things happened unintentionally, they accused others of being guilty. I felt that when that member has no trust in her fellow members, there was no point in trying to work together.

If it still comes to the fact that it was our fault that we were not able to care for someone who was so weak physically and emotionally, if it comes to the fact that this was the fault of even those who were younger than that member, then it is because of the merciless situation.

i’m not sure because i don’t remember exactly but didn’t the company actually confirm that the incidents that hyunjoo’s brother described (the tumbler, the shoes) actually happened but blamed it on hyunjoo? and naeun’s supposed boyfriend said in his statement that she had it coming?

These girls try to defend themselves here. Instead letting people on internet keep bashing them.

Until u old enough, that everything is falling apart. See how you going BS about it to other people just to breathe. Dont you ever try to promote mental health with this dismissed attitude.

So it's either

1) She was really bullied and they know it\forgot it or

2) she is lying because..dunno...wants to leave her agency, let's say or has psyhologicl problems

I don't want to take any sides. But the girl is still under the agency and is weaker from the beginning because of the contract. Also if you really think about the letters. Hyunjoo just went straight about what the agency is doing to her now and how it was in the past.
These two girls speak about how hard it was for them, use phrases like "I have never intentionally provoked negative relation" (was it unintentional then??), some of their phrases sound like a real threat and they only say that it's all false info at the end after describing how hard it was for them.

Now I don't know what is the truth but the 1st option looks more realistic. But who knows, who knows.
I mean, it's pretty easy to confirm - her parent saved the texts probably.

Like someone previously said, DSP confirmed there was animosity between the members and Hyunjoo. They basically cultivated a toxic work environment that didn't adress Hyunjoo's mental issues, which made her perform poorly, which frustrated the members, which lead them to bully her, which lead to her suicide attempt that DSP dismissed, which repeated the whole cycle again.

These statements are them not wanting to suffer any consequences and blaming it on Hyunjoo for being weak. In a way, I can see from their point of view how they would deem the accusations as "unfair", given ow DSP is the one who made this happen. It doesn't mean the other members (minus Chaekyung and Rachel) are free of any responsability for the bullying, regardless of whatever reasoning they had.

What we don't know for sure is if they are their own words, or DSP's who have been pushing the "Hyunjoo is weak" agenda since their first statement.

These statements make them sound like a bunch of mean girls. Even if they think they are in the right, this is absolutely NOT the way to write a statement.

But also, these statements show that the girls have absolutely no concept or understanding of the damaging effects of mental health. This isn't some one-off mean girls schoolyard bullying, this is (allegedly) years of workplace bullying that probably started as something harmless and culminated in Hyunjoo attempting to take her own life.
