Being a K-pop fan since 2007, I’ve seen a lot of music videos and listened to more K-pop songs than I can count. K-pop in general is an umbrella term often used to refer to all Korean music and not just limited to what it essentially suggests, pop. I encountered a lot of good songs, there were also songs I never listened to the second time, and some songs that induced goosebumps the first time I listened to them.

In celebration of my 100th article as a writer in OH!Press, here is a list of the top 25 best K-pop songs from 2010-2020! This is not an absolute compilation of anything and is purely based on my own opinion and general taste in music. The songs below will only be among title track with only one song per artist.

25. WJSN – Secret (The Secret, 2016)

One thing different about WJSN is their mesmerizing concept translated to mesmerizing music and Secret is the best example of that. I can say that this is also the song who captured WJSN’s general atmosphere sporting a space-y and rather cosmic sound. The vocals in this song were divine, and the music itself is superb.

Considering only title tracks and not paying attention to the order of the songs, I maybe agree with 7 of the choices, but I still don't know if I'd put them in my top 25 of the decade.

the chaser, step and red flavor are definitely worthy of being listed. honestly overall i don’t agree with your picks. however this is a very well written article. i enjoyed reading your review about each song. also happy 100th!

This is pretty hard because there are exceptionally catchy songs, musically complex songs, very emotional songs etc. But I tried... Sorry for all those amazing songs I had to exclude. TT__TT

I also only included groups, title tracks and B-sides who get to have a MV for themselves.
