She told him that her sis did it for her, that it wasn't done on impulse and it's placed at an area not visible during work.

And he asked if it were painful.

tattoos can be made after personal memories, this might have made him uncomfortable, i personally wouldnt mimic someone else's tattoo just because i am a fan tbh, it would be more logical to get something that symbolizes my fan being

I read about this too. But he somewhat asked for it when they released stickers for some of his tatts as merchandise lol

yeah, might be company idea who knows, pledis also tried to release svt's rings as a merch only for carats to protest the fuck out of, which made boys really happy lol, so yeah it might be  situation like this
