My feelings, those netizens, can I hug you guys? Can I? Can I? :ilove:

“I watched a bit last night, and was quite touched. No wonder so many are crazy about him. Yesterday I actually saw this hash tag, and it left a strong impression on me. This Luhan, he looks pure, doesn’t talk much, has a bright smile, a great personality, and I laughed when he paused in that segment where they had to drink the bitter juice – so cute. His speech at the end was very touching. Men, they should talk less and do more, so I have a good impression of him, and want to pay some attention to him from now.â€

“When I watched Happy Camp yesterday I was stuck by this line (“Because I’m a manâ€), I feel like his personality and his face are really different. I thought he would be someone who likes to show off and like to act cute, but I realized he’s very low-key and humble, and also speaks as appropriate. To tell the truth, to be this popular and not fight for the camera, is a really rare thing. He also didn’t complain about the member who caused trouble, and only talked about the remaining members working hard.â€

“I think a lot of people became fans through Luhan’s personality…â€

“Because of his one line (“Because I’m a manâ€) I’m turning into a fan, the gap between his face and his personality is cute. I can suddenly understand why among so many members of EXO, this dude is the most popular. The entertainment industry never lacked people who looked handsome, sang well and danced well, what it lacks are people like him who are popular and talented but remain low-key and humble and quietly bear it all. To tell the truth, there are a lot of rumors and slander surrounding Luhan, even I’ve cursed him… Sorry. But he’s really someone who deserves to be admired.â€

“After watching Happy Camp yesterday I thought this person was quite mature, I have a good impression of him now… and he’s really very low-key, and not feminine at all, nothing to anti.â€

That's right Lulu, turning them haters into fans! As expected of you.

EDIT: Exo fans are always shading other members lawls. Y'all can't handle it when it isn't your biase getting praise or recognition?

Aw, those comments are nice to see. I would be lying if I said I don't think Luhan is overrated but it makes me happy seeing someone like him getting praise since between so many talentless visuals he has talent to back up his looks and really seems like a humble person.

How do they know these are "non-fans" ?

Those comments are really from people...like us here. ^ ^

So yes, we don't really know if they are really "non-fans" but he did gain a lot of fans because Happy Camp. The comments are cute and worth sharing~ at least for Luhan international fans.

Hard for me to respect these comments though when they are throwing shade at males who don't fit their standards of hyper-masculinity.

Well, there are Luhan stans who say they love Luhan but he's not their ideal type since he doesn't ~fit~ their standard or whatever. That doesn't mean they're insulting him.

Just because they think highly of something doesn't mean they /hate/ the opposite.

really, i thought its his face

"The entertainment industry never lacked people who looked handsome, sang well and danced well..."

If they really like him for his /face/...well, there are tons of other people they can stan.

Cfans are not like international fans, they rarely have "bias list" or "bias 1 or bias 2" or "oh he ruined my bias list bc he looks so hot nowadays"

When they like you, they really like you for many reasons, not just //looks//

Luhan's Chinese fans trended the topics #He said, I'm a man#, #LuhanReturnToHappyCamp#, #EXOHappyCamp# on Weibo. Someone collected some of the comments left under those topics. The person translated from these.

Here's original

Happy Camp is the most watched variety show in China and most of the people who watches Happy Camp are not EXO/Kpop fans. And the general public in China really likes and appreciates low-key and manly(纯爷们) personality like Luhan's. It seems people really responded to what he said in the video interview especially his phrase, "Because I'm a man." Most of them aren't going to become EXO/Kpop fans but it's always nice to increase likability.
