lol the negs if any brave soul is willing to actually speak up

share what's wrong with my above comment lmao...because all i see is facts.

edit: anyways, it's clear some of y'all have never actually seen/been "jumped" by a group...  to me, rather then jumped it seems the friend was allegedly cornered (at school?) and hit a few times while standing up, based on this allegedly distorted transcript..

I didn't neg you (or clown you) but your comment does come across as downplaying assault. Kim claimed that she was taken into an alley(?) and chorong and her friends physically assaulted her (I would absolutely call that being jumped btw). I'm still staying neutral because playm said the audio was edited/distorted but saying "eh she wasn't jumped, they just slapped and kicked her a little bit"...? Even if none of it is true, why would you try to play devil's advocate over the technicality of what "being jumped" means? The problem is the (alleged) assault, not how you would label it. Just in case you were genuinely wondering why people are so upset at that comment.

1. in this transcript, where do she claim she was taken to an "alley"?

2. I'm sorry, but being slapped and kicked is not the same as being jumped in my book. just because i have a slightly different definition of one word doesn't mean i'm saying the friend wasn't allegedly assaulted.

3. i agree, it's best to stay neutral and open. which is why i find it even more pathetic people are negging in this thread when people are sharing their opinions right now about a situation that isn't even fully confirmed. right now is the time to try to examine and analyze the story.

4. i don't view my comment as playing devil advocate. i simply disagree with the word "jumped".

There was a different article posted a few days ago (It's still in the news and gossip section: “A” continued, “Then Park Chorong’s friends said to me, ‘Hey, Chorong wants to hit you,’ and dragged me to an alleyway.”). I'm not sure how accurate that is, but that's what I understood the situation to be. Please let me know if there's different information that disproves that.

I understand you have a different opinion of what being jumped means, and that's fine, but that wasn't really the issue. It's the way the comment was worded, it came across as trying to downplay the claims that there was an assault in the first place (and assault in general). I realize that wasn't your intention. It just didn't seem appropriate in the context, that's all. I'm still staying neutral but in assault cases, it seems distasteful to say an assault isn't "extreme" in the first place. I'm just going to wait for playm's response and hope things get cleared up...

yes, i saw that article. but my comment was examining this transcript, since it's the evidence the friend is providing right now.

where did i say an assault isn't extreme? i said using the word "jumped" is extreme. basically,  as you said, my comment was misinterpreted negatively.

Okay, so it may or may not have been in an alley lol

Well yeah. It wasn't worded well. It came across as very negative, hence the negs. I just answered why you might have gotten negged because you were wondering...don't really know what else to tell you, sorry 😕

you might do well in law school though lol
