I'm not even a stan but since Rollin's reversal, I've been watching Brave Girls content a lot...

I know Brave Girls existed before but I only took interest in them back in 2017 when they released Rollin. Back then, everyone was talking about 1) how good the song is, 2) Minyoung's vocals, 3) how it was supposed to be an AOA song. I looked forward to their music as a casual listener until they released Rollin's new version and We Ride, which I absolutely loved. Before, I was very much limited to their music and performance videos.

Since Rollin' went viral, I first checked their IG accounts and Eunji was very overwhelmed even when the song still hasn't reached #1 yet. Since then, I found myself watching quite a lot of their videos post reversal and the most recent I watched is Knowing Brothers and Running Man. I watch Running Man regularly but I only watch Knowing Bros when I like the guests.

I still haven't listened to any b-sides nor am I ever going to (I hate listening to bsides where I can't ascertain who's who is singing) but I viewed their past title tracks and their songs are all so damn good, well that much is expected from their CEO. I like all their past songs but I personally really recommend Nowadays You, though the song was by Brave Girls' first generation. It's very 2nd gen kpop a la miss A, KARA, Rainbow- exactly my cup of tea.

I'm not a stan, I wouldn't call myself a Fearless, but I surely am a supporter of them. Whenever they come out on anything, the hosts/MCs will always mention about their supposed disbandment and listening to them talking about it makes me really sad of how hopeless and empty they must have felt and relieved of how they are being the stars that they are now. To those who don't know, everyone aside Minyoung already moved out their dorm and they're all looking for a different job. Eunji is in textile/fashion, Yujeong plans to be a beauty vlogger, Yuna already got her barista certificate, and Minyoung's already working as a dance instructor. It's fascinating how they moved out of the dorms less than a week before Rollin' became viral, should have Rollin' became viral later when the group is already disbanded and the members are already living their own lives, I doubt they'd return as singers anymore.

All that I'm saying is I'm really really happy for them and I hope nothing but complete stardom for these girls. I hope Minyoung appears on KOMS soon; Yuna is very popular right now too because of her beauty so I hope she models for makeup too; Eunji would be perfect for a contact lens CF; and Yujeong is really good in variety so I'd love to see more from her there. Congratulations Brave Girls and I'm looking forward to your new song dominating South Korea yet again.

I feel the same way, I first heard of them when Deepened came out and I've enjoyed their title tracks since but I'm not a Fearless. I feel kind of guilty because before the chart reversal I remembered them more for the hair extension and stool mishaps during their lives and Brave Entertainment releasing Rollin' in 6817236498736 versions. I'm really happy for their success though.

Same! I'm so so happy for them!

I knew Rollin' before it blew up and checked the releases following Rollin' too. I also listened to their B-side Whatever a lot during the peak of the pandemic last year and followed Eunji casually. It's really nice to see how things have changed for them. They deserve all this success.

Nice post, thank you. I just wanna say, I hope the fact that Brave Girls have been around for a while doesn't shy people away from stanning them. There's nothing wrong in stanning a group after they become popular since that usually means more promo, more content, more activities and less fear of disbandment. I've been following Brave Girls since 2017 and even ult them at some point, but I kinda ditched them in 2019 because of the lack of activities, plus it was very difficult back then to keep up with them due to the lack of subbed content. They are a very good group with great songs, Nowadays You is also one of my all time favorites.

I loved rollin pre-fame and Yujeong was my fave but i didn't keep up with them bcs tbh they didn't have much content but all the members are really sweet and I've watched a few shows they've participated in. Yuna is really gorgeous.

Same here. They have alot of bops and the girls are humble and very likeable. They've preservered through many years of hardwork and humility. After all those years of being overlooked, they finally got attention. Very deserving.
