is being a celebrity an attractive job for bullies?

Most of they were choose randomly. Example: Hyunjin was out shopping with his mom & someone gave him a card. He never really wanted/thought of becoming a celebrity. He thought the man was joking but he went to audition anyway. He passed & started putting a lot effort to debut.

Yeah, mostly I guess. I mean it's no surprise bullies like and want attention and fame so being a celebrity fits that description.

However, many of the celebrities who were not bullies tho, just wanted to follow their dreams by pursuing their passion and talent for example they went to talent auditions and/or enrol in vocal and dance academies but don't like fame that much and feel uncomfortable with the spotlight, attention and all that.

I think it's just that there are TONS of bullies in Korea, and some happened to be idols (when you remove all the fake ones, there not THAT much, it just that they all came out at the same time). It's not like we're going to heard about the bullies who did others jobs. I think it's also a problem of treating good looking people like gods in Korea, they become too full of themselves. (you don't heard about bullying about comedians, for example, they are mostly 1) idols and actors (easier to be one when you're good looking) / 2) sports, where the competition is really high.

Look at the letter from the teacher for Hyunjin's bullying scandal, she had to point out he was good looking (why?), and the bullying from g-idle to the actress are mostly comments about the actress look (mean that she think she is herself prettier)

Even when you watch drama, you always see the pretty girl or handsome boy walking like a superstar with all people staring at them in schools. When people treat you like a god, you think you are one, and you think the others should treat you as one. Even more if there are no adults to tell you otherwise.

A lot of idols are rich kid too, and yeah .... in Korea, if your parents are rich, you can treat others like shit, because no one will tell you anything (when itaewon class came out, koreans said that it was accurate, and the bully was a rich kid with a powerful dad

I don't think being a celebrity an attrative job for bullies, I think being a celebrity is an attractive job for good looking people. It's also a job more accessible for rich kids, because when you're a rich kid, you don't need to worry about having a safe job fast, you will be okay with not gaining money for some time. I'm sure a lot of kids dream to be idols/actors, but give up because they can't afford not having a stable job (most idols and actors need time before becoming popular enough and have enough money)

and rich/good looking kid are the most likely to be bully in Korea

reminds me of class of lies, this really popular/pretty bully character was an idol trainee

it's probably a known thing in sk high schools

I think the downsides of being a celebrity are harder on people who don't have higher narcissism/antisocial characteristics. Obviously people who aren't narcissists or sociopaths can be celebrities but their mental health will take a toll (look at Jonghyun). Considering how much struggle goes into just making a debut I'm inclined to think that bullies with higher narcissism and lower empathy would fare better than someone with normal empathy and normal to lower self-esteem.

I think its more that the industry is attracted to bullies.  Lets face it, most bullies are attractive.  Either they are physically stunning, or they project a confident persona which is needed in order to be a celebrity.

that reminds me of capitalism in general and how narcissists/sociopaths are fit in it

that's the thing although I know there are bullies who are ugly or just average but since they ain't pretty they can't become celebrities
