but yea he's lowkey active. he does not make comebacks constantly like young idols tho. he use to be in a duo group with former 2am member changmin called homme. the two use to release music and do some activities. the group disbanded in 2018. since then lee hyun has released a few osts. he released an album in 2018. he's also been on a few shows in 2019. covid hit in 2020. since he renewed most likely he will release an album this year.

In other words, he may have made an agreement to provide things such as vocal coaching in the background and to release albums from time to time.
