What is "Kpop"?/How do you define "Kpop"?

A and B for me. 

I see kpop as catchy, manufactured music that borrows from various other genres and is sung primarily by boy/girl groups and some soloists with primarily ethnic Korean members, produced by Korean entertainment companies and who have gone through the Korean training system. 

I see pop as catchy, manufactured music, with the occasional singer-songwriter (Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran etc...). It borrows from other genres, It's easy to digest and has mainstream appeal.
