Is "Black don't crack" and "Asian don't raisin" a toxic self imposed beauty standard?

On twitter there is a "don't look your age challenge" trending and a lot of POC are getting a rude awakening that they don't actually look as young as they think.  Do you think the sayings in the title have caused blacks and asians to place too much importance on looking youthful?  I saw some girls literally getting triggered when they were told they look their age.

lets call a spade a spade wypipo age like MELK henny...M-I-L-K. MELK. USUALLY a black/asian person at 50 (not all the time okay.. emphasis on usually if you're the shoe don't fit..ya not cinderella) look better than a huite person at 50, heck some wypipo be looking 60 at 40. I could get into the science behind it with telomeres, stressors, etc.. but I don't want to. At the end of the day the ideology once more has european/western beauty standards roots.

Melanin in the skin protects it from sun damage (like aging).  If you're white and wear sunscreen, you'll age less quickly.

That being said, most beauty standards are pretty ageist (and exclusively applied to women--men are "allowed" to age ofc).  Like god forbid you look old.  Who cares if I have wrinkles or gray hair?  Like, why can't I be fucking old?  What's so horrible about looking your age?  My mom (Chinese) looks really young for her age, but she's obsessed about dying her grays.  She's nearly 70!  If I go gray, it's staying gray.
