Welcome to SNSD's official Dynamic Vision thread.

This space is intended for suggesting and voting on banners that can used for users browsing on the Dynamic Vision theme on the website. The banners we are allowed to submit forward for this season include:

• SNSD (group — 8 members)
• TTS
• Oh!GG
• Taeyeon
• Tiffany
• Hyoyeon

The other members are not eligible at this time because they have not made comebacks as a soloist.

Depending on our time, we may choose to do some or all.

 

Rules:

• Images submitted must be AT LEAST 1920x1080 px.
• Must be less than 2 MB. If you are not sure how to compress your image, you can use one of these sites to compress them: Compress JPEG, TinyJPG
• Only Official HD Pictures allowed. Examples: Comeback photoshoots, official magazine photoshoots, endorsement photos, etc.
• Edited, scanned, press, fantaken and LQ images are not allowed.

Yes, anyone is free to download the template and apply images they have in mind to it. If those images are individually taken for those members mentioned (Taeyeon, Tiffany, Hyoyeon), then that should be fine. Same also for TTS and Oh!GG. But for the group, I think it would be best if those images reflect SNSD as a team of 8.

We have the necessary space to suggest one image and to test it across different resolutions and sizes. So, there's no need to have to put all of your necessary images into one post (that is being used as a suggestion).

I wanted to stress this point because this is how I think we should suggest. This is a problem I see in other related threads, and so I wanted to demonstrate this with an example.

Using the guidelines in the template, I've cropped the images at the necessary dimensions. Most of you, who may have noticed, will be able to see slight differences. That is because images will display differently on different resolutions.

Images that appear nicely on the "Dynamic Vision" theme may also appeal less when applied to the "Dynamic Night Vision" theme.

The image limit on this forum is 15. If you're suggesting an image alongside with the intended mocks, you're already including 9 in your post. So, I encourage you to mock one at a time because we have the space to do that here.

Hi, would you be able to re-do your mocks? Other than the "Notes" from the .psd file, everything else should be included as a reference point.

I've applied both of those images to the existing template and they don't seem to display well at all resolutions. At some resolutions, the faces of some members are either being blocked by the object or do not appear on the screen. I'll display the images I've exported from the file across two posts. Both images were rotated also by 180°, to see if the images would appear better. Finally, all were done with the Dynamic Vision theme.

To my knowledge, we don't need to save the background images as they appear in the mocks. The reason being that Graphics will re-position the images themselves. For our submission, we only need to include the source (original image) and the mocks (which should include the OH overlays, as I've just done).

That would be fine. In that case, all you would need to do is include both the original image as well as the edited image in your submission if you decided to do that.

I think there are fewer problems with the first one than with the second one, specifically where some faces are being obstructed by the boxes (caused from the OH overlays). So, I think you should submit only the first because the image should display relatively well across all of the listed dimensions (1280px, 1440px, 1600px, 1920px).

I don't think it's worthwhile to edit the second image for the orange lighting because I've shown mocks that it already doesn't display well across the respective dimensions when applied to the template.

If you agree to submit only the first, then I think you should include all of the mocks I've created for that in your submission.

(I know I keep editing this post, but I'm mostly editing for clarity.)
