Article: JYP Entertainment market value jumps to #2 due to 'NiziU syndrome'

1. [+322, -15] So they're making this money in Japan and bringing it back home, right?? Then I'll support them passionately, tsk tsk tsk

2. [+174, -10] Your stocks will drop if you're like SM and support China but rise if you're like JYP and support Japan and the US

3. [+154, -41] Park Jin Young's greatest quote: "Good character is the most important."

4. [+93, -11] At least Park Jin Young is doing well. He always had his sights set on somewhere across the ocean and he's finally achieving his dreams now.

5. [+113, -38] Please train the Twice members' vocals... I feel so bad

6. [+29, -1] At least Japan knows to spotlight Park Jin Young's warm style of leadership and praises him for being a successful figure that the Japanese entertainment industry can learn from. Unlike China who backstabs you and will claim anything as theirs the minute we are successful over there.

7. [+21, -2] I honestly feel like K-Pop is going to backstabbed by China and Japan. All JYP is doing right now is teaching Japan and China all of the training systems and techniques of K-Pop, no??

8. [+14, -2] Please don't let K-Pop's techniques get stolen

9. [+9, -1] It's obvious why Park Jin Young changed his sights to Japan. Japan has a lot of interest in idol groups but their idols are all so untalented and have zero influence outside of their own country. He's basically giving them all of our know-hows in exchange for money. I just can't warm up to this guy.

10. [+8, -1] NiziU basically seems like another Twice to me. I thought Twice had put out a Japanese album at first.

11. [+4, -0] But how does this benefit Korea in the end? It may be good for Park Jin Young and JYP but what does that have got to do with us?

12. [+4, -1] Soon Japan will start acting like they built NiziU up themselves. CR.

Yikes why would they call japanese idols untalented. Then why do u guys stan Yuta, Momo, Mina, Sana, Shotaro, Sakura etc. Yes the system is different but that doesnt mean there isnt talent there.

Also idk why a group promoting in another country too should benefit the whole country? Since there are foreign members in the group too. They arent ministers or politicians, leavethe kids alone.

Imagine calling Arashi untalented and having zero influence when they're among the biggest boy bands in Asia and won World’s Best-Selling Album Of 2019.

Also they should go listen to Sana's cover of Kobukuro's Sotsugyou if they think the J-line can't sing. Plus their singing is fine when they sing in their comfortable ranges.

I always had the impression that he wanted to make a younger, japanese version of Twice and it's basically what he did. No wonder they're so successful in Japan because they totally have Twice early style but with all japanese members.

Maybe Aki made the talentless cute girl a success with AKB franchise but Japan has a lot of talented people like city pop singers, SMAP, Arashi, Namie, Ayumi, Perfume.

J kpop idols like Yuta, Yuto, Asahi or Yoshi are full package idols.

Lmao at knetz frothing at the mouth the moment Japan is mentioned

 [+14, -2] Please don't let K-Pop's techniques get stolen

this is SO FUNNY LMAOOOO as though Kpop didn't literally use Japanese aidoru and the American and UK music industries as a fucking blueprint for kpop

Anyway. NiziU isn't particularly my cup of tea but I would die for Nina.

I'm glad that Niziu is doing well.

despite being hard to follow Japanese idols since their companies don't overpromote them overseas, they are really popular, in my country, they are especially popular among fans of Japanese animes/mangas.
