[RUMOR] IZ*ONE's Kim Minju and Jang Wonyoung will be joining SM Ent 行 and YG respectively

Is YG going for cute next time? Wonyoung should have gone to Big Hit with Sakura, I trust YG with idols less than I trust SM.

I'm also confused with Minju joining SM. SM just debuted a girl group, unless Minju joins Aespa I don't see what she's gonna do.

Edit: no sources, this must be fake. If it's true then it makes no sense.

the way the acc tries to "defend" the girls by saying people are blaming them... girl... you know you're spreading false rumors!!

if it's real then i'll be VERY shocked. no way would starship give wonyoung up. simply buying out her contract is not enough to value her actual brand.

and i honestly wouldn't mind seeing minju in sm. at least i'll actually see her. her company is mainly acting anyways, so...

legally it is, if the contract stated so . unless they get her another contract/updated it before all other company goes to hunt. coz it be stupid if starship still holding her with 2018 contract that probably worth like less than a mill with the contract extermination 5-10x(depends) that . pretty sure if yg relly really want her pretty sure they can do that.
and there's a posibilitty that the 2018 contract ended together with izone and they have to persuade wonyoung to renew with better offer . but if other company offer more not only monetary but like what they had in plan for her, promised for future project etc and if she likes it than it is what it is what it is .

  • love changed the title to [RUMOR] IZ*ONE's Kim Minju and Jang Wonyoung will be joining SM Ent 行 and YG respectively

Has SM even found any of their trainees from competition shows? Even when BoA was a judge on KPOP Star for two seasons, the winner didn't even have the choice to sign with SM even if they'd wanted to. I'm pretty sure Minju ain't with them.

And Wonyoung is a golden goose for Starship. I hardly doubt they'd let her go without a fight.

I highly doubt Starship let Wonyoung go when she's literally future it girl material and she's gonna be the center/face of their new gg.

The Minju thing...I mean, it could happen, but what is SM gonna do with her, adding her to Aespa? Not sure if people would like that because a lot of people are starting to get used to Aespa as OT4.

Exactly. There was a rumor of a contestant from YGTB joining SM too but people said the same, that SM never picks trainees that have been in other companies or competition shows before.
