It’s just an award. I love BTS and I know how talented they are. I don’t need the Grammys to tell me that. What my faves do for me is more important than the Grammys. One of my favorite bands lost tonight to Body Count but it doesn’t matter to me. I still think it’s a great song and I don’t care what the committee thinks. It maybe the Boi's wishlist to be at the Grammys but their already bigger and have proven enough they don't need some award show to validate how far they've become. I know the boys want one, and I hope they get one just so that they can say that they got one. But fuck the recording Academy, they wouldn’t know taste if it bit them on the nose. Look at Abel, his album was one of the most successful ones from last year and Blinding Lights was played everywhere, yet he wasn’t nominated for one single category. It's kinda disgusting to see their misogyny against Gaga and Ariana on twitter. I'm very disappointed in the fandom. It is literally one of BTS weakest songs, it doesn't showcase how good they are at singing or their talent for rap and let's not talk about the lyrics... they were clearly nominated for their fame and because the song was HUGE worldwide. I mean Map of the soul 7 IS a strong album with a bunch of good songs. The winner was between Gaga and Taylor all along. One of them showcase her strong vocals in the song (with Ariana) and the other one showcase her writing skills... and both are powerhouses loved by the academy, they have more than 10 grammys each. This is only the beginning for BTS.
