TVXQ's Yunho reportedly tried to escape from police when he was caught drinking past midnight.

According to an exclusive report from MBC's News Desk on the 12th, when police arrived around midnight on the 4th floor of a secret adult bar establishment in Gangnam, his acquaintances fought fiercely with police while Yunho tried to escape. As the struggle intensified, police ended up putting Yunho in handcuffs and arrested him for breaking quarantine rules.

According to reports, the establishment Yunho visited is registered as a regular restaurant but in reality is an illegal room salon. Yunho had met with three acquaintances and another female employee until around midnight. It's not known how many female employees were there at the time. 

A bar employee stated, "Only those registered with a membership can enter and need a prior reservation."

tbh if he really went to a room salon this is what i cant understand. he could have sex with practically anyone he wants behind the scenes, but to visit such an establishment knowing how its trashed the reputations of yoochun and other male celebs from his generation is so fcking stupid he has no one but himself to blame for the dirty image that comes along with it.

With a pandemic going on and people being very careful, with scandals all over the place and celebrities shaking in their beds reliving their whole lives before their eyes praying they haven't done anything questionable since middle school, everyone being super focused on catching mistakes, Yunho goes and breaks curfew in a prostitution bar?? With his perfect reputation the fall is even greater. Some people were probably salivating waiting to catch him do something wrong. Was going for prostitutes worth the risk? I think the fck not.

I'm wondering how he managed to get caught. If there were only a few people there, the place should have been locked up. Were they not away from the windows? Surely a famous idol like Yunho would be more careful than that. Especially with gossip sites like Dispatch running around. I have suspicions that someone inside tipped off the police to ruin Yunho's image.

Anyway. Personally, I don't think this really says much about his character. I hope he can bounce back from this.

Agreed, but personally, what I'm really judging here, is the stupidity of the action. And if he used his friends as shields against the police, that's not a good look either. The fact he reserved the whole encounter past curfew also does not speak in his favour either. Overall, the prostitutes are the smallest issue I have with this whole thing.

In a way this situations even weirder BCS Cassies for sure could handle a gf, over a room salon. Yes this works for newer groups but most Cassies I know are adults well into their career ..

exactly. forget the pandemic , why would a celeb go to such places in the first place? anyone can easily take a pic of him with a prostitute giving him a drink and he can easily get blackmailed 

now before anyone coming and saying he's an adult and he's free to do whatever he wants as long as it's consensual and such,  I agree but this is Korea we talk about and a celeb's image is his life and career

I read from other comments Korean celebs love going these places, because it's without attachments and ugh, new person everyday if you want. Otherwise I also read this place is per lounges so you cant see their insides.

tbh it do seem like the police were tipped off. because 4-5 people in a so called closed restaurant/bar like how?  it's either a inside job or it was someone [he knows personally..

all it says about his character, if it's true he was actually there to buy sex, is he's a guy that sleeps with paid workers. because generally going to adult bars or strip clubs isn't illegal(?)

anyways now we know going to "close" establishments is a way idols try to hide dating, partying, or more.
