Are there any "suspicious talks" regarding JinE's departure of Oh My Girl?

In light of the whole scandal involving April and some "suspicious talk" regarding Yeonwoo's departure of Momoland, I was wondering if there are any sort of "suspicious talk" regarding JinE leaving Oh My Girl. As you know, she left the group due to anorexia, but ever since the whole April thing happened, I now start to wonder if anyone noticed anything "unusual" about her departure.

In any case, was there anything "unusual" regarding her departure that people are talking about? I remember JinE apparently refuting the whole thing back in 2020, but...

P.S. I know that this comes off as a very poor taste considering the whole Tank situation, but...

I think they’re all still cool with her, but I can’t say for sure it’d be impossible

With what you’re saying, I’m def looking at Cherry Bullet’s case. Cuz 3/10 of them got dropped from the group, with 1 redebuting elsewhere not too long after

Yeah, DCInside galleries seem to be only places that are really talking about this, and I'm not sure if they're credible enough...

in my opinion, i don't think there's anything unusual as jine has been showing signs and interviews show that she's been suffering from anorexia as early as their debut. i remember an interview talking about her symptoms during closer era. but we obviously don't know anything.

i generally think omg are a nice group of girls (pls don't jinx it lmao) and i don't think jine would've posted about their 4th anniversary if something bad happened. and it's interesting to know that dolphin has been very apparent in their comebacks after she left, and in coloring book, their first cb without her, they confirmed that the pink dolphin represented her.

Nah i don't think there's something fishy going on. OMG to me are one of the few girl groups.l who are genuinely close imo (i hope so). JinE's departure is definitely because of her anorexia probelms. There were a lot of signs

Signs of anorexia, you mean?

Were there any "suspicious talks" on how her anorexia might've been caused by "internal conflicts"? I know that Jiho apparently showed concerns regarding JinE's health condition, but...

yes signs of anorexia. i don't think there's any conflicts between her and the members. she's the second oldest so i doubt there's people that would bully her. as for fights or something she genuinely seemed close to the members when i watch their past vlogs/v-lives and stuff.

edit: also to note that JinE has an instagram and she once post about oh my girl's 4th anniversary but deleted it after some time later. It shows that she's in good terms with them and there wasn't anything bad happen

I don't think she was bullied, plus if you watched the group's early days interaction, there's nothing that shows she was bullied or isolated. She was the mood maker of the group - the funniest, most bubbly and naturally witty - that I would find it hard if she was bullied. The other girls always responded and laughed at her jokes. You could tell they all got along well with JinE. She didn't look awkward or isolated at all when she was a member.

Was there a particular reason why she deleted that particular Instagram post?

agreed. I think she was just sick and being in the industry any longer was too hard.

I also dont want to jinx it but all of them moved out of their dorm into an apartment complex(which is proof that theyre quite close imo)

Also if Jine was bullied, she would've spoken up about it by now, its not like WM is that influential of a company

true. they all have moved out of the dorm but 4 of them chose to stay in the same building. yooa and jiho stay with their parents.  hyojung lives alone because of the on & off show but even then her house is also quite near to the other members. they wanted their own space but still want to live close together. that already tells us how close the girls are.

no subs though

I read that her Instagram was hacked like twice, but I’m not sure if this was before it was hacked or something. But she has a new account now!

I'm so curious as to what happened with those girls. It was so bizarre that 3 of them were gone just like that. I really hope we get an answer.

Uh, not at all.

I think it's quite clear the idol industry and in general Korean society is hyper focused on weight. Diet culture has always been to starve idols and restrict.....it's very obvious a path to eating disorders. If anything, I'd put the blame on her company if they made her go on crazy diets or harassed her about weight loss.

Idols like Chaeyeon, Wendy, IU, etc. have all mentioned being starved (forced to eat nothing but tofu/pumpkin puree /etc) by their companies. If you're being told not to eat and being harassed about your weight by the company, obviously you might develop issues with food, eating, and body image. The other members probably went through the same thing and definitely were similarly told to lose weight, but OMG never had any rumors.

Also, JinE was officially diagnosed with anorexia and got treatment for it. She was going to come back to the group but left for full-time recovery.

As someone who has also suffered from an eating disorder, I don't think there would be a way for JinE to return to the idol life/career and fully recover. Idol culture and industry inherently focuses too much on appearance. It's too triggering, idk how anyone would be able to recover from an ED while still being an idol. Kpop triggers ME and I'm not even an idol.

I think it's extremely dangerous to even consider her ED being caused by "internal conflict" especially since there were absolutely no rumors at any point or any reason to think bout it.

Also, most of the time anorexia is NOT caused by "bullying", despite popular belief. it usually comes from other places....like family issues and major life changes, working in an industry that makes your body the focus of your success. Hence why ED rates are much higher in ballet, dance, gymnastics, figure skating, etc.

Bullying can play a role for sure, but it's actually not very common for bullying to lead to full-blown ED. It could be a factor, but very rarely is it the primary cause.

Idk, speculating just seems like a huge and unnecessary reach to me. JinE's case wasn't sudden and unexpected, unlike other groups where popular members randomly left. In JinE's case, signs of her struggling were evident throughout promotions, and she didn't randomly leave. She went on hiatus for treatment, and only after that did she decide to fully retire. Plus, she completely left the industry - she didn't join another group or company right after leaving OMG.

Is it possible she was bullied? I guess we never know. but there was nothing suspicious about her leaving the group and no rumors were going around, so
