This article is dumb. Many 2nd gen groups broke the curse.  The curse is not real, it’s just a fun little fan theory. It’s really just renewal time, no curse. Companies are shit, members don’t even necessarily want to disband sometimes but just want to get the hell out. A very important point that shouldn’t be overlooked. I think we will see some reunions over the next decade.
