This didn't happen before but after their seollal break, this started. I'm from the Philippines, did this recently happen to anyone else? This is an inconvenience to groups with a big PH fanbase because bitches here have nothing nice to do but youtube and they contribute a lot to views which translates to Mcountdown broadcast points. Fly_Higher 831 Posted March 4, 2021 Share Posted March 4, 2021 With those region-block checker websites, it seems that M Countdown videos are blocked in the Philippines, Taiwan, Thailand and sometimes S.Korea as well. It's likely because a local platform bought the rights of the show. I know it's geo-blocked in Taiwan as it's shown on a local platform called 'friDay'. According to Wikipedia, in Philippines, you could watch the show live through a particular website and it is also showed on TV at a later date, so that is probably why you couldn't watch it on Youtube.
