it's strange that everyone is giving their 5 cent on the story but the girl that allegedly was being bullied is not or did i missed smth?
i hate seeing everyone that is on APRIL side talking of Hyunjoo's sickness like that it was her fault or that she wanted to be sick. South Korea really don't f*cking care about healthiness and depression and it's shows once again, that is why their suic*dal rate are scaring. they treat idol like robots that can't be sick or show emotions so I shouldn't be that surprised with this mentality.
i don't know if they bullied her but for sure instead of the girls support each other and help her they didn't care much. there is no sisterhood between them and that is the problem in join people with different personality in a group.

if i would be in a kpop group/band, if i could, i would prefer form a group with friends not with strangers chosen by the company

i don't know which side koreans are taking in this case but for me and a lot of international fans it's not looking good for APRIL side, even if they didn't bullied her, it's show lack of empathy

Knetz so far is against them and the company. And nope, the girl herself hasn't said anything. (Assuming she could, being under the company and all).

Does anyone know if there's a reason why she hasn't gotten out of her contract yet? DSP was complicit in the bullying imo so I can't see why she would stay under them unless she had no means to break her contract or leave.

She probably has no way. Some companies require insanely exorbitant fees if the artist wants to leave. She's trapped there until the contract runs out.

I think her contract expires some time this year. I hope the two members that weren't involved in this don't renew either.

Also, out of topic but I find it so ironic that BM (Kard) literally just joked about moving to sublime ent. with jackson in 3 years from now on the get real podcast right before this happened.

DSP tried to walk the line and blame no one. But April’s proxies tried to gaslight everyone and make Hyunjoo the bad guy. Hyunjoo’s brother hit them with the Uno reverse card. Clearly DSP lied about dates and reason for Hyunjoo being out. And April members were mad at a girl who attempted suicide because of them and called her lazy for it. April is toast. This is definitely more sounds more AOA than Tara. And as a former AOA fan, I can tell April fans not to feel bad because I never even guessed that was going on with my favs. But if you are still covering for April even now, then you are a part of the problem.

Wow, this is it. I think now we know which side to believe in. This is the final nail in the coffin for DSP, April, Naeun and Somin. As well as that alleged bf of Naeun. The way they denied, tried to paint Hyunjoo in a bad light, defended April by making excuses, and took lightly of suicide, they can f**k off. Suicide is no joke. This just shows whatever they said and defended lost all the credibility. I already had a weird feeling whenever all the ppl who sided with April spoke up bc it shows how much they ostracized her.

My heart hurts for Hyunjoo. She went through so much and have held in all these pain and suffering for years. I hope she will keep pursuing her dreams and find success.

Agree with everyone, this isn't looking good

April is most likely over.

April debuted in August of 2015. Most likely Hyunjoo was/is still bind by the contract. I'm guessing April have a common 7 year contract. Meaning the contract probably doesn't end till the end of this year.

The stupid sister and the stupid boyfriend are the ones who in the end buried the group.

First that stupid brat saying that she skipped practice when she was actually dying and the other bastard when she said it was all her fault and the bullying was non existent when we've watched a video where she is being completely ignored.

Serves you right for being the same shit that those evil bullies

P.S: I'm hugely disappointed in So Min, I really liked KARD due to their originality, their dynamics and their awesome songs. But I think i won't support them anymore

The only people I have sympathy for is HyunJoo (obviously), the two members who were not apart of the group when all this was happening (Rachel and ChaeKyung) and the members of K.A.R.D. (sans Somin). I'll throw in the upcoming boy group and dsp's trainees too. Other than those mentioned everyone else's career can burn to the ground along with DSP for all I care.

yep.

Parents with kids as trainees at DSP... take your kids and RUN!
