I can play with the setting high perfectly fine but I do use quite a few mods for some of my games so that kinda slows things down, but I've had this laptop for 2 years, and I tell it's already starting to take a beating.

Sounds like it-- knowing laptop components age much faster than pc components, best if you plan for external GPU maybe or outright get the desktop build instead lol-- Otherwise, the workaround would be downplay the settings I guess--

It was kinda good for the price range I would say. It's definitely no longer up to date with the new ones, but in comparison it was enough to play Cyberpunk on Ultra graphic while running over 60 fps at all time. 

Recently I played a lot of Genshin Impact mostly, kinda had a break of it since the last 2 weeks to play some more games. Got more back into Civ 6 because they updated with Vietnam and Barbarian Update so I was really excited for those (huge fan of strategy game hehe). Played a few Valheim with friends, like it so far, but hasn't touched it much these days. Some Endless Space2 as well.... But right now I have been playing back a lot of LoL cause a few friends got me back into it. 

RX 5700 XT is a great one yes! I mean Cyberpunk on ultra settings already says a lot!

I wonder how much greater to play Genshin with it lmao~ this and have at least 120fps 4k IPS monitor, omg...

Having friends to play together is indeed fun! Which was why I ended up playing again (Genshin in this case)

Ooooh yeah. I can imagine how heavy since I had to carry the old model of 27" iMac back and forth due pandemic (telling you my house is in a no-elevator apartment on the third floor) adsfdsa *dead*

I think it's great since I'm used to windows since I was a kid, but after experienced iMac, I had a serious trouble looking for great display for my work (which explains why I hate my current gaming laptop from work even more)-- tbh I would never go gaming with Win Studio nor iMac, unless I go full desktop or fork out my money for a legit expensive hi-end gaming laptop

To me when building pc, CPU and GPU is always the couple that I would reserve huge chunk of money for them. Then the monitor before everything else-- 

my cat is truly enemy, i once hang on seventeen's poster since i have alot and i wanted to use them

he only bit the hoshis face out of 13 members i am still confused about his talent

honestly win studio is no different from imac, hell i think its bigger, from plus side if you are using windows, with bit of money towards monitor you will get a great face imac lol play with colour settings as well, its usually colour settings that differs monitors

i am planning on building a computer in future but just for my TV, i always wanted to have something like this for some reason lol

 

you broadened your question i just realized, i play genshin impact most these days, but when i have my gaming computer i was absolutely obsessed with witcher 3 and skyrim (usually heavily modded since graphics sucks and you know i cant bear that lol) i also casually play bunch of games, and i think last game i played there is hades? i still didnt finish which breaks my heart ( i should also finish nier automata but too many endings...) 

i need to get newer games but i am aiming for bug free and on sale version of cyberpunk 2077 these days lol if you do suggest some games feel free!! i like rpg and especially fantasy elements (most importantly graphics tho)

It does work differently tbh (especially on the processing side of both OS), while windows give rooms for tweaks, macOS is still much more stable processing OS and softwares. Monitor wise, I still need to find a good IPS monitor with high color rating if I want to as color rich as retina display. Definitely need display calibration too. This totally reminds me why I hate the laptop so much lmao

Speaking of building computer, I do want to shrink my pc into itx system and get bigass monitor or at least 2 or mons for productivity and eyegasm lmao but this gonna take hell a long time to accomplished

Genshin Impact is just the game everyone plays lol yep yep-- for me, the game I've been wanting to play the most now is actually FFVII Remake but only on PS4/PS5 makes me salty lmao

Otherwise, I think I'll start playing more games once my pc is fixed and once I settled down with good home internet

i like using mac but many programmes i use are not suitable for mac, like SAI is a drawing programme and it only offers windows version for example, so windows it is T^T

i saw MSI sell really tiny case and ever since then i am so tempted, it was so small and i LOVED it lol

Ah yeah. Problem with mac is that most programs are exclusive and not free. And hella lots of alternatives aren't em for mac. 

Lol well I'm surely mini case lover. Just that they're expensive to build. I have my dream itx setup but to reach goal gonna cost me half of my life fjsbej

only got beidou for it but she is built as support not as dps i need to grind a bunch to even try...

Ooof that's bad- I would try to grind at least one dps for the main elements. Of actually you could buff geo element to your dps for shield if that could help
