If I recall correctly, GD and Blackpink are close as sunbaes/hoobaes (he appeared on a BP unboxing live once), and he always seemed like a sweet guy with his peers in 2NE1, especially Bom.

I hope this is a relationship where both are happy and in a good place. When he was dating Kiko Mizuhara, it was said that their relationship was dramatic and stormy and hopefully he has matured.

I remember back in the day when YG would ban female trainees and idols from dating, and even from eating in the same dining hall if male idols were there. I hated hearing about that kind of misogynistic BS. However, it sounds as if YGE has moved on and are less preoccupied with locking their female idols away. If Jennie wants to date, good for her! She's in her mid-20s.
