Do you feel guilty not streaming or voting for your favourites?

I do a little of MV streaming and buy his official mds, but that's about it.

I feel that kpop is meant to be a hobby, not a job. Wdyt?

I think I've done enough in my 9 years of loyal EXO stan, I have no regrets and no guilt tbh. I'm now ony buying albums, listening to their music, following their projects and supporting them in ways that don't take up too much of my time or feel like a job. I used to vote, spam and stream like crazy, follow their schedule day by day, but I can't do that anymore.

 

Edit: wanted to add that I feel like my faves are at a point in their career where they don't care about charts as much as they used toanymore, and honestly me neither. Right now my only wish is for Baekhyun to be recognised and respected outside of idoldom, and for him to keep making good music that I enjoy and that he enjoys. I want him to develop as a vocalist with his own colour .

When it comes to streaming, I'll watch the MV/listen to the song on a streaming site if I like the song. For example, I haven't streamed Aespa's Forever in literally forever.

When it comes to voting, as you said, K-Pop is a hobby and not a job. I'll vote when I know there's a good chance of my bias group winning, otherwise I just don't have the energy to vote considering how complex the voting process has become.

no i'm lazy. and i just don't care to manipulate numbers that much. if it's too difficult for me to vote, i'm not going to vote. if i'm tired of listening to the song, i'm turning the song off.

Not really. Luckily I've never felt the urge of streaming and voting like the world is gonna end. I vote or stream sometimes but it's because I want to, not because a 16 y.o kid on twitter pressured me to do so.

Seriously though, I never felt the need to stream / vote aggressively. Sure if they're close to a milestone, I would sometimes go stream a video (also the fact that my favs make amazing music so its not hard)

Not at all lol I don't owe my favs anything tbh. If they can't get certain achievements without me manipulating numbers then they didn't deserve it imo. I'll naturally watch more if it's good stuff, not down to torture myself with loops of mediocre content

people spamming like that barely makes a difference and if a group can't achieve something on their own merit then they didn't really achieve it
