DAY6's Jae wonders why GOT7's Encore sounds so good and then realizes that "it's because they're not under JYP anymore"

Do you think he's going to renew his contract with JYPE next year? 😅

Jae previously expressed his frustration over the lack of support from JYPE.

He also shaded JYPE because they didn't want to let him play with Bambam and Mark on stream.

If he leave, I hope they do like got7 and all leave together. They are doing there own music already, so, it will not change much for us.

I'm so upset, all my favorite groups are in JYPE, and each time, there are problems with boygroups.... They always screw them over, there always one or more members calling them out. Hottests, ahgase, I'm sure myday don't like JYPE either ....

And what about the girlgroups ? Twice is so overworked that they need to take break from promotion one after the others, it will be the same with Itzy ...

JYPE always play the good company, with organic foods, and choosing personnality to choose the ones who will debut, mental health care ... Then, why there always one or more members of the boygroups who's complaining about the company ? JYPE is all about the image of the company, and for this, the groups have no liberty.... Let's not even talk about protection with sasaengs.... THe company seems good when you first know about them, but slowly, you know that it's a company as shitty as the others.

People call us company stan when we like most artists from JYPE, but believe me, it's about the artists, most of us don't like the company.

And here why JYPE didn't want Jae to have is own channel, he knew that Jae has no filters, and will expose JYPE, they try to control him by letting him do nothing, and maybe that also why they didn't let Jackson go to variety show anymore, too scare of the artists who talk too much.

it seems that JYP really dislikes men, I suppose he only debuts boygroups because he knows he will make some money out of it....I hope he will get karma for his misandry

Even jyp's superstar left his company make his own music and strive, and still can appear in a show together with jyp without issue. So Jae should pursue on his own

Jyp are so strict wtf

JB's demos didn't sound like his demos after JYP said "Nope, I don't like it, iT dOeSn'T sOuNd LiKe JYPE" JB's demos were excellent and I tried to strangle JYP through the screen, but that didn't work lol

PS: I appreciate your Hyde gifs signature from early L'Arc〜en〜Ciel days.

Didn't Jay Park said that JYP dislikes men who could become more popular than him? Seeing how popular GOT7 became, and how badly managed their comebacks were (no sustainable trailers, not enough publicity, etc.), it would make sense.

Same here. When I learnt they were self-produced, I thought they maybe were with Big Hit or YG. Since they merge pop, hip hop and trap elements, maybe JYPE checks what's trending (and K-Hip hop is popular in SK) and watches closely the popularity they're gaining, but I still don't understand why such freedom wasn't given to GOT7 (they participated to the production of their music, but as I mentioned earlier, the demos had to get JYP's approval). Hopefully SKZ will be able to remain self-produced for the next years.

as a stay, I can confirm that skz do get tonnes of creative freedom and make a lot of their own music

but with that said, around the time when they debuted, the whole "self-produced" thing was trending for boy groups (and it continues to be now)

yes, their music is genuine, but the context behind it is 100% about the group's image

G7 was always more of a "here-is-a-classic-jyp-bg-for-the-first-time-in-a-while" type of deal, and that probably clipped their wings throughout their career

notice that DAY6 hasnt had a comeback outside the subunit since he first blew up on them last year.......

I mean they recently did a photshoot or whatever but Sungjin still is getting better day by day and he says he might feel comfortable enough to sing in studio but still not live performances.

maybe this could possibly be why Jackson's promotions in Korea was blocked

It's insane they don't let him play with Mark and Bambam. Wtf. I actually always watch otv & friends among us streams/ videos and the times I rmr got7 playing with them was enjoyable. And I rmr some months back Jae deleted all the AU vids on his channel and said he likes playing but wants his content to be his music over gaming.  I wonder if jyp limiting him streaming playing with friends had to do with that.  It's unfortunate I rmr liking his vids

Wow this explains why JYP bgs don't explode as big as the JYP ggs especially when it comes public hit songs.. JYP is lowkey sabotaging them.

Rain?

sure. When Rain left he opened J.tune and started debuted a group called MBLAQ. He had some business problems, and to help him JYP bought his shareholds of the entertainment company and he enlisted. Rain and JYP are really close.

JYPent let Jackson to open Team Wang, but he couldn't work as a solo in Korea and Japan due to his contract with JYPent.

After leaving JYPent, he signed with a Korean company to work there. Now, he needs to stop supporting so much CCP cause Koreans don't like this.

that's a big loss for the company.

for 2 comebacks in a row that Day6 couldn't promote. I understand the reasons why they couldn't promote, but it's complicate for JYPent and its investitors

you're right

GOT7 was a transitional group. JYPent used to manage all their groups' comebacks, and JYP used to write most of his groups' title songs. Then in 2014, JYPent let 2PM to have a comeback with a self produced song. And they did well. So JYPent decided to test the water by letting GOT7 promoting a 2nd song composed by GOT7's leader after the end of their promos for the title song. The response was positive. So JYPent let GOT7 to start having a comeback with self composed songs. The problem is that most of their self composed songs didn't have great response with the K-audience, the biggest exception was 'Look'.

in fact Rain left to open his own company and debut his own boygroup. And he did it about 2 years after leaving JYPent.

I agree that Jae should see how's the entertainment world out of JYPent. JYPent has a good record of not blocking their former artists.

So yeah I don't think he would renew lol

In fact, Jae can leave JYPent at any moment. San.E and Sumni left JYPent before the end of their contracts, and they were not blocked.

San.E was invited to be a judge on Sixteen and Sumni came back to JYPent and last year she released a song with JYP.

i'm cackling, he's out of there the minute his contract is up

he should write a book like jessica and pretend it's all fictional so he doesn't get sued

as I said above ^ Jae can leave JYPent at any moment.  Now, it's better to be smarter than Jessica and Jay Park that decided to go against their former companies cause broadcast companies may block him cause we know that between an entertainment company and an artist, broadcast companies will side with entertainment companies which are constantly producing new groups and making profitable deals with them.
