Actually I'm a bit confused about Golcha's visuals. I know Bomin and Jaehyun are the visuals. But I've seen Jibeom and Y being named as the visuals on some sites too. Who are the official visuals? And erm, visual, face of the group, centre of the group.... What's the difference?

i'm not too informed in golcha (even though i've been a little bit more than casual stanning lmao) but from my pov, the visual is explanatory. face of the group, in my opinion, is the member that brings attention to the group. for visuals, i believe groups can have more than one, and usually it's bomin, jibeom, and jaehyun being named. while for the face of the group, the public will most likely recognize jangjun due to his appearances on variety shows and bomin for his acting gigs. 

That makes sense. I guess some sites might have just labeled them according to their opinions. But yeah, Jibeom is really handsome!

Jibeom is also part of the visuals but he's the one Woollim never promotes, Joochan talked about it on a V-live once and he said Jibeom has always been a visual but often unnoticed  it's because his talent overpowers his good looks (Jibeom is lead vocal, BongBom are both sub-vocals/rapper).

On the other hand Y used to be promoted as a visual, in fact Y is the original visual of Golden Child with former member Jaeseok (aka the Ajae Prince duo) but since Jaeseok left, though he's always in the center, Y was never formally introduced as "Golden Child's visual" unlike BongBoBeom. 

Thanks a lot for the explanation! I just watched some Golcha clips and Jibeom TOTALLY cracked me up. Oh yes, he was amazing at Masked Singer.
