I would honestly not be surprised if they decided to do some kind of partnership / joint venture for the chinese market! There is a lot of money to make there

Not impossible as long as they do it correctly. Debuting and promoting group there isn't as easy as in kpop, but I believe BigHit is way smarter and wiser than SM with their half assed attempts.

Um as for which company they'd choose. Bigger is better I think, but there'sanewcompanyownedbykoreansomaybeiftheyreinteresteditstoventertainmentbtw

 

Unrelated but I think this is very interesting. Last night I watched iqiyi's youth with you season 3. You know, where Lisa is there as one of mentors. It's 1st episode. There's a group of trainee covering blackpink "kill this love" and instead of men's singing (it's men seasons this year!) I heard blackpink's Japanese version, and if they didn't use their mics, their lip didn't match the japanese version lyrics.
