Yves to step down as Fact in Star MC

I don't follow Loona so I'm not sure what this is about, but I saw some boy group stans complaining that she didn't react to their idol showing their abs, which I find ridiculous.

I'm sure that can't be the only "mistake" she made. 

EDIT: wait I just read that the whole show is going on a break. I'm confused.

Tbh, I don't know how big the golcha issue is. I've only seen it on Twitter.

Yes, the show is going on a break and rebranding and that's why Yves is stepping down.

Same, I've only seen a post with a couple hundreds like. That's why I don't get why she is talking about making mistakes and to be fair I don't even understand if she got replaced because of them or if the show is  simply going for a change of image.

Been a frontliner of that on Twitter and I swear, Orbits are blowing this out of proportion when they're the ones who started it.

Basically, the MCs (yes, Yves too) asked the members (Jangjun in 2020 and Jaehyun in 2021) to lift their shirts and the boys did. Pictures floated with Yves showing an unimpressed expression and so GG stans started to go with their "men are trash" agenda and an inside joke of Loona members being homosexual BODYSHAMING the boys in the process. That's when Golcha fans called out the FANS for their behaviour but of course they're going to interpret it as Golden Child fans hating on Yves.

It started back in 2020 and when Yves herself recently asked Jaehyun to show his abs as an MC, comments from Orbits floated around relieving what happened last year, leaving nastier comments along the way. Now they're blaming Golcha and Goldenness for Yves leaving? That's the biggest bullshit ever. Fact In Star faced a reformat in 2020, MCs for these stuff are frequently replaced, why are they blaming Golden Child fans for ONE incident they caused themselves?

She's surely stepping down for other reasons (MCs always change in literally every show, even the most popular ones. The few that don't change are only the ones not exclusively related to idols) but about the Golcha issue, do people not realize she couldn't have given a reaction even if she thought their abs were amazing?
We all know what happens when idols of opposite sexes even do as little as stand next to each other so I really don't think the situation could have gone any differently. She asked them to lift their shirts because it was her job to do so but that's it, I'm sure her agency would have beaten her ass up if she even tried to fangirl about it (and she probably wasn't even interested).

When people say "bg stans more problematic" please provide this as rebuttal lol. Not saying they aren't but it is mostly said by gg stans which is very ironic.  They play victim when they are usually the ones who made their faves in trouble. At least not in real life.

 

On topic : I read somewhere that the program would have some changes hence mc change but even if it's not, it's not abnormal nor she did some mistake it cost the job.
