wbk. honestly it makes sense that this wasn't picked for 2NE1 at the time though, even when they were doing stuff like Falling in Love and Do You Love Me, AIIYL just doesn't hit as hard as the rest of their discography. I think BP did a great job with it but I'd love to hear the 2NE1 demo.

My ears are like Shakira's hips, they don't lie.  Wbk it was a 2ne1 demo just by listening to it. Also LMAO at Minzy shading the song. We were joking that it was a 2ne1 reject and she confirmed that.

It was kinda obvious. Still like the song though. Blackpink did good job with it.

Its a pity how 2NE1 was treated and ended tbh. Most members sound like the experience with YG kinda traumatized them. Especially Bom and Minzy.

I remember people saying it sounded like a 2ne1 song but honestly I though they were just trying to be mean or that Teddy was just that unoriginal (most of his songs nowadays sound the same), I didn't expect it to be an actual reject song, damn. But to be fair this song fits Blackpink very well, I think it's too cutesy for 2ne1.

Tbh, everything that came before AIIYL seems like 2NE1 songs, and I think the reason why title songs after that seem recycled is because YG/Teddy tried to gie them a signature sound of sorts.

The styling would have probably been different and they might have made the sound a little more mature if 2NE1 actually recorded it

Don't come for me but I laughed when I read that. 

All jokes aside, I'm not the least bit surprised. Many of BP's earlier discography sounded like songs that were originally produced for 2NE1 which didn't sit well with many Blackjacks a few years ago.

Jennie also sang BB's We like to party demo and I don't see blinks claiming the song lmao, demos are demos, just like Rosé sang Somi's song in the documentary, and like this with everything

I mean, even Teddy said in the.documentary that they have a lot of songs saved so we'll see how many of them go to the new group.

 

P.S AIIYL fits better with BP, no doubt about that

Yeah, that was expected and hearing her say it was nice. Although BlackPink is awesome and the girls matched he song so well, somehow in moments like these I just feel extra sad about the treatment YG gave to 2NE1.

no one is saying singing demo makes it their song, its just sad 2ne1 is treated so horribly in the end, i agree BP fits better to song however

otherwise, idols sing all types of demos, most we wouldnt even know lol what you see here is majorly getting mad at yg and teddy
