[TRANS] Osaka #TohoTreeTour Report by Miyoko Omomo (TV newscaster)

Note: Miyoko Omomo (49) is known to be a Tohoshinki fan, see here in "Dodesuka" on TV Nagoya for TIME Tour:

--- Tohoshinki concert in Kyocera Dome Final ---

Entry themes: Korean food, stars, culture, movies

Aaah, it has ended. Tohoshinki Live Tour 2014 TREE. I could participate in Tokyo Dome and Kyocera Dome performances.
I directly faced Tohoshinki’s greatness, on the day before the last day in Kyocera Dome.

I was a little late. Sorry (TN: written as “mianhae†but using Japanese alphabet) *sniffs*
Goods were almost all sold out, and I couldn’t get the pink T-shirt. So sorry… *sighs*
And the photo session corner that was at Tokyo Dome was nowhere to be found.

Unless this was it?

I hurried to the venue and going down inside the arena, saw the Red Ocean of penlights ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥
It was so hot! From the opening, Yunho-sshi was sweating... The enthusiasm of Osaka fans, the heat of the venue, “today is terrific!†he kept firing at us! I could feel his goal/intention when he said the tour would end the next day already. I went to see TREE three times but every time I was moved, each venue is different.

The first was Tokyo Dome: I was struck by the scale, the dance, the splendid appearance of the set. The second time (in Tokyo Dome), cameras recorded the warmth of fans and the laughter arising during the talk corners– as for me, I was mesmerized alright.

This time I was amazed by the perfection of the cheers at the location. People at Kyocera Dome knew even till the songs set list. I’ve seen the exact same tour three times yet I got the feeling this was the first one.

This time was after my eye surgery, so I participated wanting to engrave this beautiful scene with those new eyes of mine. Handsome guys (TN: “ikemenâ€) are the best nutrition for the eyes! *laughs* To Kansai fans, the beautiful appearance of those two has the same virtues as nori (TN: “seaweedâ€).

As the live flowed this time, I realized it was totally different indeed. More precisely: I felt alive. I heard many fans go to several concerts during Tohoshinki tours – “I want to see all of it!â€: it’s that feeling indeed.
At Osaka there were some parents with their kids, and I could witness nice scenes such as a small boy and his mom dancing and jumping together, and embracing each other.

The precision and sharpness of their dancing, the beauty of their poses, their manners: it is all the result of daily training. For that reason, while being stars who play an active part even beyond the borders of their own country, they keep working harder than anyone else – it is an attitude that make one reflect on themselves.

My "stage" is different of course, but in that world they call “televisionâ€, I wonder... what are the things I can do?
Seeing that even Tohoshinki themselves are putting in so much effort, I receive the courage from them to think “I myself will work hard!â€

That view I could see so clearly, so distinctly was deeply etched into my mind. The drops of sweat flying off their bodies and faces, the high level of synchronization with their dancers.
For instance a little story from during SuriSuri: “what led Yunho-sshi to achieve such mobility in his upper body (TN: or “chestâ€â€¦ ^^) when he dances?†– so I thought with admiration, and then the laser beams, the brightness of the pillars of fire, it was too exciting!

Stage director, Sam-san… he got so much happy cheers for himself too! Wonderful!

In Osaka, it’s the ballads that shot me down. Yunho-sshi. Changmin-sshi. The raw singing of TREE that resounds and reaches out to us, talking all along in Japanese, 45,000 people shouting “KYAAAA KYAAAAâ€, shaking through it all, and then “just like this TREE (TN: 木=Tree=“kiâ€, the TohoshinKI pun) Tohoshinki will continue its growth by your side, everyone!†– the whole venue! We were so moved! ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥

Yunho-sshi’s sincere attitude, Changmin-sshi’s snarky comments, I fell for it! It couldn’t be helped! (^_^)

Ah! The self-introductions: Yunho used the “YUNFO†he learnt from Sanma-san, and Changmin’s was “Chan-Min-Shanâ€. During the Korean class we had to repeat: “the best!†= “chego!†and “Yunho is cool!†= “Yunho-neun mocho!†– explanations for those who couldn’t go.

By connecting two countries, Tohoshinki continues to prove that in deeply moved hearts, there are no borders. But it is precisely because on the other side of their success, in places we can’t see, there are people in the staff supporting them, sweating and shedding tears with them, right?

The political relations between Japan and South Korea have been reported to be quite cold recently but the staff is working hard in order to make something good happen, a festive moment, even though the entertainment world as well can be subject to the effects of politics. I think peace simply cannot exist without a foundation of sorts.
SM Entertainment – to which Tohoshinki belongs – is a pioneer regarding proactive overseas strategies. So there exist wise persons who produce such ideas, that’s kinda amazing…

What is shown on television concerning South Korea and politics has grown fewer and fewer. However, because Tohoshinki’s activities are considered a social phenomenon, now television is telling people about their tour. Everyone, we are even featured in a sports newspaper this morning.

Yunho-sshi, you always keep your last words to express your gratitude to the staff, and this is the moment when I clap the longest.
On the last day, Sam-san and chairman Lee Soo-Man also attended the concert. Speaking of Sam-san, this morning I bought TRF exercise DVD on a shopping program (I’d borrowed it from a friend the other day). It’s specially for women around 50s *laughs*

Everything started with gratitude, then hard efforts, and ended with gratitude once again.

I’ll be cheering for those two people’s sacred Tohoshinki Tree (TN: see TohoshinKI pun above) even as an oba-chan (old woman)! Grow big, Tohoshinki! You worked hard.

Tonpen-san (TN: “Tonpen†is the word Bigeast uses to call themselves, basically a Japanese-d short version of “Dong Bang fanâ€),

The number of people mobilized in the past three years for their tours broke through the 2 million mark! Congratulations. I’m also part of this count ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥

I’m grateful I’m living at the same time as our stars, and that I could meet them!

With this, good evening~

There are so many touching parts, and I'm so impressed that she dare to talk about politics. And she expressed her feelings so well.

THIS... is the essence of TVXQ whether  in Japan  or anywhere else and  the meaning of being a fan of this magnetic group who's able to bridge so many boundaries of adversities.
