K-Pop Conspiracies

Share your fave K-Pop conspiracy theories. They can be anything - popular or something you made up. The more details, the better. This is all just for fun.

Here are some interesting ones I've read recently:

- TS Entertainment is a money laundering front for a crime syndicate

- Jeongyeon and Jimin are legitimately fighting with each other

- Yuehua robbed Dreamcatcher of their first win

- Red Velvet was originally planned to be a rotational group like NCT

- SM played a huge role in fueling the T-ARA bullying rumors

- Back then, Lee Sooman preferred poorer trainees over the wealthier ones

Lol never heard of this. Why people should believe it? Did Hwayoung got connected with SM?

Some people say that SM planted Hwayoung in T-ARA to orchestrate their downfall 💀. I don't believe it, but I find it amusing.

Other people say that SM paid news organizations to tarnish the group's name during the scandal.

- SM clowns their artists

Over the years we see multiple SM artists debut looking very similar. Eg, Irene & Soho; Jaejoong & Taeyong. They are all praise for their visuals, so SM recreates something similar so that the new artist can also gain popularity from their visuals.

I kinda don't believe this. I don't think SM is trying to duplicate their artists. But more of SM sending them to the same plastic surgeon.

- Idols details are sell online by staffs

- Some idol ages are fake...probably due to companies wanting them to look young in the public eyes & to delay enlistment

Yeah, I agree. The clone thing is simply a joke. SM just has a particular type and love sending their idols to get similar procedures done.

Staff sending details is reality at this point. Where do sasaengs get flight information from?

Companies altering their idols ages isn't surprising. While I don't think it's for enlistment, companies probably change their ages to help their images, fit concepts, etc. Starship is notorious for this.

-Taemin and Jimin were more than friends during 2016/17.

-Yeri and Saeron dated or tried to be gfs maybe for that reason now both girls don't talk anymore bc the breakup was hurtfull.

- Idols fake ages and debut poor trainees in SM was common in TVXQ/SUJU times but now SM is like the others top companies debuting idols from good families bc they are better training bc they pay particular academies before entering to SM or maybe some families of debuted idols have good connections.

-EXO member dated and travelled to Phillipines and Japan with current famous chinese actress. I discovered in the ig of the chinese actress bc she was obvious. They were something during 2015-18.

-Staff sells info to sasaengs and press. Some staff fxxed with ssgs.

-SM adquired Woollim to limit Infinite success and Lovelyz potential.

-Korean government help to prottect BH bc BTS money is beneficent to korean economy.

-Irene scandal happened bc it was revenge for rejecting a wealthy man.

Interesting. I've always thought about SM acquiring Woollim to weaken them but I don't know how much truth there is to that 🤔

Some staff members definitely make deals with sasaengs.

Huh nobody says it is. I came here for interesting conspiracy but I saw some weak "tea" instead.

If you found the "tea" weak, you could've contributed to the conversation with your interesting ass theories instead of just whining about it
