[enter-talk] THE GROUPS WHO END UP SUCCEEDING AFTER A MEMBER LEFT THEM

I just thought about this, don't you feel a bit bad... Whether it's health issues or discord with the company, everyone's circumstances are different, but it's a life-changing situation to be in and if it was me I would be so upset if I was that member

When Apink Hong Yukyung left, No No No hit big
Oh My Girl JinE too
and somebody left KARA to have Kang Jiyoung and Goo Hara replace them and they succeeded
After School Yoo Soyoung left, and Uee, Nana, Lizzy joined and they succeeded
There were also a few EXID members who left and they were in the path of failure but in the end, Hani's webcam made them succeedㅠㅠ

JinE was seriously OMGirls' sore finger.. Of course, they didn't hit big as soon as JinE left either. But after JinE left, the following song was Coloring Book and they were on the path of failure so there were discussions about how they will disband if the next song doesn't do well. But the next song was.. Secret Garden.. They won their first #1 (they're the girl group that took the longest time to achieve a number 1). They started succeeding more and more since then and after Queedom, they hit daebak..

Winner hit big with Really Really after that Nam ssi left

But Apink was already very popular before. They broke even with the 2 first albums already and once they released their full album, the members all received attention, appearing in variety shows here and there. And Yookyung is also studying fashion right now and received a nomination for the fashion daesang too. She had an interview and said that the members still contact her and they still meet each other. She has no regrets. They're also showing how close they are on IG.

If they're the reason, that's better. I hate members who quit their groups because they're not going well, and decide to become an actor, but keep mentioning their groups after; I like seeing that Apink still get along

There's this guy who left The Boyz because of his ankle during promotion, but in just 3-4 months, they released a completely different dark concept with a full album, they went on RTK and their Youtube subscribers doubled. They revealed "The Stealer" and their 1st week sales were the best. So in that sense, I would say they've succeeded. They used to have 50K views on their Vlive and now, it jumped to 600K. They also have 1M followers on Twitter... It's been 1 year and 3 months that he quit, and he used to be a popular member too, his fan service was also good, and if he was still in the group, he would've attracted so many Iroaches. He would've been so popular so it's a bit of a shame that he had to stop promoting. I really hope he keeps receiving treatment for his ankle.

Still calling us iroaches huh? Well anyway, Hwall was one of the members who was really passionate about dancing, his injury was such an unfortunate situation... I hope he does well as an actor

from my observation being a longtime fan losing a member doesnt hurt a group's popularity except when that group has been around for a very long time and were already wildly successful. Even if the group doesnt immediately feel it eventually creeps up on them by the next comeback

This post is a bit dumb. Those groups didn't succeed because those members left. They just happened to become bigger after they left for different reasons (having a viral hit, participating in a survival show, etc). For example in the boyz's case they've always sold well but they got RTK boost, so that's the reason why they became more popular, not Hwall leaving.

Wtf is this bit ab hwall omg..

Hwall is gr8 dancer and prolly would of madw their rtk even better when they're alr 100/10 perfs. I will say hwall was popular member but to me i didn't think he attracts "iroaches" hhhh i didn't even see him as one of the more popular intl members, i mean others comes to mind first but i don't think them attracting ifans is bad at all tsk

And the sore finger comment ab jine is a bit... 🤨 Coloring book is a top 3 OMG title song and we aremt taking 2nd opinions 💅

Also these both left due to health reasons. So odd tp frame it this way like their groups wouldn't suceed without them or they're better to habe lost them...

They really called JinE a sore finger when she had to leave to take care of her health since she was SICK? i-

Like, OMG success doesn't have anything to do with her leaving, at all, wtf

"Sore Finger" is a Korean expression that they say when you treasure/care about someone

or when it hurts you that someone that you care/love is hurting a lot

usually said by Korean parents when their child is hurting

so I think what the comment meant is that it hurts them to see JinE having a hard time and had to leave

so it's not an insult

I think Pann-Choa just did a direct/literal translation of it instead actually translating what the expression meant

😀
