Awkward pairs in your bias groups?

As the title suggests, name some members in your fave groups who are awkward or were awkward with each other at one point. I'm not talking about fights but cute awkward moments. 

Yves and Haseul's interactions with each other were so funny during the pre-debut era.

 xiaojun and yuta. xiaojun is awfully intimidated by yuta for no reason it's so funny ksksks. hendery too at one point but it's going fine now since they promoted together.

 

renjun and doyoung are known to be one of the most awkward pairs. they even appeared in nct's 1st season of it's awkward but it's okay. but ever since then they became close

I think they were extremely close 2013-2014 but at some point it got sooo awkward between them. Idk what was going on but they went from being clingy/together 24/7 to noticeable space and silence between them for a bit. They seem close again since 2018-2019 though thankfully and they're back to being some of the closest pairs haha. But I agree, 2015-2016 V-Hope was awkward asf. 

In that vein, I think Jin and Suga. They're really close/cute but for some reason they interact like two dads/two grandpas and it's so funny to me. It's not "awkward" awkward but it's just entertaining because they both act kinda stingy/naggy/old lol. 

As for Twice, I'm not sure...maybe Mina and Chaeyoung. Again they're really close but their interactions are just so funny/awkward to me sometimes. 

Lisa and Jennie lmao, and ofc. Taeyeon and Hyoyeon.

The Yuta and Xiaojun video is so funny lol. With so many members, there's bound to be awkward pairs.

Oh yeah, that's the time I was talking about when I said "at one point". They're back on great terms now, but their dynamic was so weird at one time, it was clear something was off but it is also clear that whatever was off is not off anymore and they're back to that closeness without being awkward nowadays. 

Jin and Suga ARE grandpas when they are together, and it's the funniest thing ever. Jin is so extra and funny when he's with the younger members, he plays along with them or even encourages them to be playful when they're not, but when he's with Suga, both of them act like grandpas going fishing and it's really cute.

V and JK used to be soooo close and clingy but yeah they've been awkward and less closer lately. 

 

SJ- there are too many of them well not surprising considering their members. Leeteuk and Heechul are like the ultimate awkward pair in the group. They do care about each other a lot but there are unexplainable tension whenever they try to interact lol

Donghae/Shindong? I dont think they are awkward it's just they dont spend so much time together. Same with Siwon/Ryeowook but these two just cant vibe lol they both have too different approach to their relationships. Who else? Probably yesung and shindong too.

I guess it's related to videos? Jun is in general not too himself Infront of cameras so SVt leaves him alone, we know about their Jun interactions majorly from off camera, where Jun is more himself

i remember for a while people thought beomgyu and hyuka were a bit awk together...they rarely had selcas or vlives together, just the two of them

but 2020 had so many cute interactions!  they're very sweet, like a doting set of brothers

I was gonna say beomkai too lol their last selca was way back 2019 and they barely had interactions on-cam (kinda same with taejun) hahah but yeah beomkai has really gotten closer this year .

Past: V-Suga and Jhope-Namjoon

Back around 2016/2017 during one of the Bon Voyages seasons, BTS themselves said it was V-Suga and Jhope-Namjoon. Which was very true at the time. The members even made it a goal to work on getting closer. Which definitely helped. These two pairs are a lot more closer nowadays, despite sometimes still be awkward with another.

V is/was sort of a quirky rebellious odd ball in the group. Have been called 4D, Alien and etc by the members too. Based on Korean social hierarchy and standards it's obvious based on interviews many of the members didn't quite understand V. Specifically Jin and Suga early on seem to not have clicked with him. Suga back then use to be quite strict and up-tight according to himself and others, and Jin while he may come off as a playful oldest-hyung he still expects certain level of respect from the younger members. 

Jhope and Namjoon it's really hard to explain their relationship. They're both 94 liners, but the way they act around each other no one would guess that lol. Both of them have different sense of humor and lowkey clashing personalities. Also I think there might of been some sort of hierarchy differences back in the days too. Hobi is a early 94er while Joon is a late 94er. I think the two might of graduated in different years too. Perhaps Hobi wanted Joon to treat him more like a hyung, but at the same time couldn't really demand it since RM is the leader.

Now: (?) V-Jungkook

BTS genuinely seems quite close. Their tight bond and have a good group dynamics. It seems they've worked on many of their differences over the years. At least understand one another. And know how to react and handle each other during different arguments and disagreements. 

Perhaps, nowadays V-Jungkook(?) They're definitely not as awkward as the pairs listed above. But there is a clear difference in their dynamics from back in the days and now. I feel most Armys have noticed. I lowkey feel that's why it was addressed on the SOOP. I feel we all needed that closure - the assurance that everything was ok with the two. That things were not bad between them, instead just a matter of growing and maturing, but they're still family.

 

 

Honorable mention: Some people sometimes mentions Jin-Suga. I disagree. Especially in later years as they've gotten older. The Hyung-Dongsaeng dynamics between the two is quite cute. Jin is like the only member Suga can actually act or be a true youngest. (Reminder: Suga in real life is actually he youngest in his family and has a older brother.) People just have to pay close attention since this pair's interactions are not always as highlighted as others in the group. These two love going fishing with one another and among other things on their off time.

When Seungri was in the group, it was him and Daesung. Now that he's gone it's all good. 

Heechul and Eunhyuk were awkward. Daesung and Shindong are forever awkward with each other.

that might be the camera uncomfortableness jun mentioned o.o stories they talked about jun which is off camera always seem more relaxed jun to me, i guess jokes he handles and laughs off cam, on cam he turns awk about it?

Because he was always one of the members that were extremely conscious about cameras due to past, but thats how i view it ofc lol

Because he was always one of the members that were extremely conscious about cameras due to past, but thats how i view it ofc lol

maybe it is because of the cameras but some people are like jun - very unique personality and introverted, which makes him awkward around others lol
