Why are people still using that site? Seems like they've implemented a way to encourage users to buy fake points to get money too lol. ethereal 20,923 Posted January 14, 2021 Share Posted January 14, 2021 tbh, i started using akp since for the first time since i left the site in 2013 last year bc onhallyu is next to dead. akp's community is only slightly larger but far more active. people just want an active community so they can chat shit at the end of the day. most of the users there have knowledge of how shitty akp is at being a "news site" and what a prick johnny is, but that doesn't make the community any less active. the site got revamped in the first place bc some 15 year old users started using johnny pics in their dps and spamming johnny's account and he got mad at them so the revamp is basically punishment to the "toxic community". but its actually surprising and a good sign that the news portion of the website is quite dead. they've even resorted to using user posts as "articles"... idt akp will stay as active after this.
