Award shows keep robbing non-idol artist of awards. It's been going on for at least a decade.

 

AI should not have rights as things are now. They're nowhere near sentient.

in fiction, korean celebs often know they've won the award in advance, I wonder if that reflects real life at all...

Award shows are basically a useless event now. They're all rigged. Do your favorites need to win an award to enjoy their music?

I would love for shows to get back some meaning, but thing is, much like music shows, they add prestige to a group, allowing them to get endorsement love calls, and perhaps some general public recognition, and in general, be taken a bit more seriously and with respect; so even if a group wins a made unaward created to fill up with atendees and everyone know which award they’ll getting, they’re still worth something in the end.
