Woo!ah! Attains Impressive Milestone with 'Bad Girl' in Vietnam's NCT MV Chart

On Tuesday, Jan. 12, the girl group's management agency NV Entertainment shared that the music video for Woo!ah!'s "Bad Girl" has once again ranked No. 1 on Vietnam's biggest music platform NCT Music Video chart. The rookie group has been topping the MV chart for seven weeks in a row, proving the immense fame of Woo!ah! in Vietnam.

In particular, the music video for the song topped the chart for the first week of 2021 (Jan. 4 to 10) released by NhacCuaTui (NCT) in Vietnam. Last Nov. 30, 2020, Woo!ah!'s music video for "Bad Girl" occupied 40% of the Vietnamese streaming market on Nov. 30, 2020, and eventually placing first on the NCT Music Video chart in that week.

In addition to this, the "Bad Girl" MV took the No. 1 position on the said chart this past December. It overtook the latest singles of world-renowned girl groups such as BLACKPINK and TWICE, as well as the debut song of Aespa.

Besides the music video for "Bad Girl," which is the title track of Woo!ah!'s second single album "Qurious," the MV for the group's follow-up song titled "I Don't Miss U" also ranked high on NCT MV chart. Coming in at No. 3, the video is a new entry of the rookie group on the chart.

"I Don't Miss U" is described as a future-based hip-hop track that conveys the intention of never going to a past lover who broke your heart. Through the single, Woo!ah! showcased their improved elegance and gave off a girl crush vibe.

By taking the two top spots in the top 10 of Vietnam's largest MV chart, Woo!ah! proved to be a K-pop Hallyu girl group that has captured the attention of fans in Vietnam. An official from NV Entertainment commented, "We are grateful that the Vietnamese fans have consistently shown interest and love to Woo!ah!. Until then, we will continue to give our best to promote the girl group in their future activities."

that would be a first for kpop(?)

i think being able to visit and meet their fans once the pandemic calms down would be awesome! - which their company sort of suggests in the article
