sorry in advance for my bad english
but i feel like the pandemic have to be considered for the future aswell from the company perspective . like even if they got their kids back what are they gonna do with pandemic still going witch concert, fanmeet, etc is not an option(and i don't see online concert get alot of profit margin coz i feel like only a fan will buy that when with reguler concert there's a sense of impulse buying being involved aswell like if u like kpop and hear some big kpop act going touring in you'r town you will probably get it)
and most of the izone agency agency are considered mid tier and alot of mid tier agency are struggling coz of the pandemic with staff and trainee get laid off. and with the girls being split that's even less chance to get a CF deals(unless u're the top member).

People arguing about album sales in here when it doesn't even make companies much of any money since the little they do make mostly go back to paying production cost...

Anyways as I've said before, Izone is currently not very profitable for CJ/Mnet/co. because of the lack of fanmeets and tours due to the pandimic. Plus the scandal has made it difficult for the group to receive many love calls from CFs and variety shows. Basically everyone just counting down for when the group disband. And as expected, CJ and Mnet already have a new show(s) too.

HOWEVER the only reason I can see maybe an extension is CJ/Mnet/co. want to see IF they can squeeze some concerts and or a tour before disbandment. For all parties, the endgame would be MONEY.

IOI, Wanna One, & X1 stans bout to get real vocal online nnn

Hm CJ is trying, doesn't mean they'll succeed. For Wanna One they managed to get a 1-month extension out of the agencies only because it made sense not to disband them in the middle of award shows season, and the group was even more successful than Iz*one to begin with.

I'm totally ok with this, even as an oneit. The girls aren't to blame on the issues that happened in the past and both the group and the fans should enjoy their time as much as they can.

That being said, I know it's very unlikely all of them would be extending contracts.

Edit: didn't see when this was originally posted. My bad 🤡

lmao i didn't know popularity discourse was this intense with iz*one. as a casual fan i always assumed chaewon and minju were the most popular. i feel like since produce i haven't heard or seen anything about sakura or wonyoung.
