^^^ This. It's so excessive to the point that I don't see  the benefit? These idols are: 1) already rich, 2) probably own a lot of these lol, and also 3) now they have to buy an entire apartment for all this stuff because there's so much of it.

Idols are used to money (the popular ones receiving the mountains of gifts), so what's the point? Something handmade or a letter is more meaningful, and also, it makes me sad to see so much money being used when they don't need it....lots of people need the money:( Birthday projects that fundraise or do charity work in the name of their idols are so special and benefit society too.

Idk maybe I'm being stingy but this is so excessive It stresses me out just seeing all those gifts. Where will they even store it? Will they even use it?

do you know whati would love? all fanbases coming together for birthday, sending idol a one huge book of various letters and artwork

i would love that, and it wouldnt cover too many spaces lol, rest of the money can go to charity too

I believe I saw some fandoms do that and it's a cute and appropriate thing to do, I agree. Generally I wish idols themselves would promote investing money in charity under their name rather than just gifting them stuff they already have. Maybe companies end up using the gifts money and that's why they don't put a stop to it either but it's just so fucking sad because there is enough wealth to literally change people's lives here.

hm idols did ban gifts before tho, i guess bp didnt, but there is quite alot of groups that banned gifts and cakes o.o i guess this changes from company to company seeing this

overall, i definitely prefer tiny notebook idea, even if its harder to reach to idols rip
