JYP is like a family. Family members argue, leave the house, stay a time without talking one to the other, reconcile after a big fight. Families are not happy 100% of the time.

It wouldn't be 1st time that artists leave JYPent while voicing their disappointments with the company/management and then some time later, they are back working with JYP himself or with someone from the company. San.E did a dissing rap mencioning JYPent/JYP, and JYP asked him to be a judge on Sixteen.

People are wishing for GOT7 to disband more than they are worried with them leaving the company.

No entertainment company is a family. It's just a way for companies to get people to like their groups so they can spend money. It's a business.

Miss A disagree.

I think you should read more about G.O.D, 2AM and 2PM.

Oh damn you right, they def got the shit end of the deal later on

Almost forgot about GOD, they def on good terms with JYP, same with 2AM. I was gonna say 2PM, and while it’s still true for the most part, Jay Park’s incident made me edit the post

JYP is a Nation.

some labelmates/members are like family-members. It doesn't mean all of them are close to each other, but they treat each other like brothers.

JYP is like an old brother. He's done good things for his artists, this week Rain shared an emotional story about JYP paying for his mom's hospital bill when he was a trainee,  but sometimes JYP makes mistakes and says/does wrong things.

2PM is a 6-member group for 10 years, so they are like a family. They are always together. This week they gathered together to welcome Chansung back from his military service (Khun was not there cause he's filming in Hong Kong, but there was a cardboard of him).

Solo artists are also in good terms: 2-3 months after leaving the company, Jimin came back to film inside JYPent, she even wanted an interview with JYP himself. San.E was one of judges on Sixteen. Sumni and Rain released songs featuring JYP. All WG members had fun  with JYP and even filmed a mini "reality show" for Lin's wedding. About Jay Park, when everybody was expecting him to release a dissing track to JYP and 2PM he tweeted: "A true family can make up and work things out no matter how big of a fight, right~?"

Who really thought got7 would have a chill breakup with JYP after the whole trendmark fiasco? After so many times they have been shady in regards to JYPE/JYP? It was pretty clear some shit was up behind the scenes. I was pretty sure 5/7 of them were to leave asap, but even the other two I was not expecting to with as much conviction are in the middle of the mess. So well, JYPE got what it deserved... Their second most lucrative group breaking apart and leaving.

No, it is like a business.  Yes, family fight but the point is at the end of the day it is still more of a business. No company is like "family" as you fans want to paint it.

I am curious also why you never mentioned Park Ji Yoon.

Nobody is wishing them to disband most people though they'd stay together in JYPE

Honestly I forgot about Park Ji Yoon, but I have no problems in saying that she was doing well under Seoul Records, then she moved to JYPent did even better, she's still remembered by her song Coming Age Ceremony, then Ji Yoon said she wanted her true self instead of doing what JYP wanted, but well it's JYP's company, like at any job, you do what your boss allow you to do. Then she left JYPent after 3 years, disappeared for 6 years, signed with Mystic89. I think she was not satisfied at Mystic89 too and then she decided to open her own company Park Ji Yoon Creative. Basically she was not satisfied in any company, I hope she's satisfied now selling far less than she used to sell at Seoul Records and JYPent.

If he really did that, he was being very childish. Why not a nice departure like how he usually did?

because we live for the drama lol
