Worth noting, though, the apple as temptation isn't purely a christian idea.  Obviously with more&more the concept is the garden of eden, but with apple, it clearly is supposed to skew more greco-roman.

I'm not sure how common the concepts mentioned in op are used right now because those concepts had been around since forever. I understand the concern about less focus on music quality though.

The apple was them turning evil. ICSM continues the story about them choosing whether to let evilness from eating the apple in M&M consume them or fight it. They said the snake was added for no reason, it was just there.

I wonder why this entire concept sounds so familiar.

I'm sure the references don't span multiple music videos. I've definitely never seen this Biblical painting anywhere before.

Stellar's 'Archangels of the Sephiroth" comeback came to mind for me. I never thought I'd see a Jewish mysticism/Kabbalah concept in a kpop group and it was definitely a risk in terms of sound.  I liked how they even incorporated the Tree of life into the photocards and thought that was a cool touch.
