A spin-off from the hit web drama series “Love Playlist,” “Dear.M” is about the campus-wide search for “M,” a mystery individual who is mentioned in an anonymous post on a Seoyeon University online forum.

The teaser begins with the students of Seoyeon University getting excited over the anonymous post on the forum, which is a confession of love written to “M.” Opinions are divided as to whether it was written by a boy or a girl, but the students become convinced that the confession itself holds a clue to the identities of the writer and the recipient.

Even as speculation over the confession reaches fever-pitch, the romance of the two main couples blossoms in other ways. Park Hye Soo and NCT’s Jaehyun play Ma Joo Ah and Cha Min Ho, who have been friends for 12 years. Noh Jung Ui plays Seo Ji Min, a key member of Seoyeon University’s cheer squad, while Bae Hyun Sung plays her love interest Park Ha Neul.

“Dear.M” will premiere sometime in the first half of 2021.
