Are Everglow's vocals that horrible ?

My friend listened to ONE of Everglow's songs and she said the vocals were so terrrrible that she stopped and refused to listen to other songs. She said they have to be good like Gfriend for her to listen to. Well I'm not an expert but as long as songs sound good to me it doesn't matter. I know Everglow isn't known to be a vocal powerhouse, but really they don't sound bad to the point I have to stop giving them a try.

Mia and Shiyeon's vocals are way weaker compared to some 4th gen vocalists (like Weeekly's Monday and IZ*ONE's yuri for instance), in fact they're also weaker than Lia and Chuu who aren't strong either.

There are definitely worse vocalists in kpop.  I think they manage their songs just fine.  Your friend is being a drama queen.

It'd make more sense if your friend didn't want to listen to them because they have bad music, but that's not their fault.

I don't think Everglow's vocals being "terrible" is the reason she wouldn't listen? I mean except for Yuju, Gfriend's vocalists aren't much better than Everglow's either, I could only imagine she's being overly dramatic or she is searching an excuse to not listen to their music...
