What was your gateway Kpop song?

Take Off by 2PM because I was watching the anime Blue Exorcist and that was the ending song. I liked it, so I looked up the artist and listened to their whole discography and loved them (and was surprised they were a Korean group, not Japanese lol).

Then I watched Dream High because Taecyeon and Wooyoung were in that, and I discovered miss A and T-ara because of Suzy and Eunjung starring in it as well. Everything just spiraled from there lmao.

It was actually a Japanese song.

What happened was that back in the day I was watching Inuyasha and its 4th ending was BoA's Every Heart.
I really liked that song and decided to check out more BoA's songs then I found out that she was actually Korean and also checked out her Korean songs and  that eventually lead me to listen other kpop artists as well.

I heard of TVXQ because of OnePiece, then BoA. I didn't really think of them much then because I thought both were Jpop lol  Then Gangnam Style became super popular and I discovered they were Korean. I started following them, SNSD and Kara very closely from then on.
